Visto che qualcuno ha espresso interessamento, questi sono i ruoli che sono disponibili presso le 3 sedi londinesi. I posti indicati piu' sotto come Development Studios possono essere a giro per l'Inghilterra.

Web Programmer, Online Services

Role Overview

This is a newly created position contributing to the recently announced Football Manager Live title developed by the acclaimed SEGA studio, Sports Interactive. The role is based at our Old Street offices in central London and will see the successful candidate managing all key aspects of web programming for the Online Services division and maintaining front end websites and our backend CMS systems.



Senior Web Designer x2, 12 month fixed term contract, Online Services

Role Overview

SEGA Europe Online Services are looking for two Senior Web Designers on 12 month fixed term contracts to join the design team to work on a wide variety of very creative and exciting projects. Working closely with the Creative Manager the candidate will help to drive, plan and deliver work of the highest standards to ensure all creative activity is world class and contributes to the development of the online proposition and customer experience, usability and compliance with SEGA brand guidelines and site principles.

The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker, be proactive and have a proven record of ‘getting things done’. They will be capable of re-prioritising tasks when needed, focused and in control when put under pressure to meet deadlines, an advocate of the value of user centred design process and passionate about his/her design skills and the Internet.

This role is based at our Old Street offices in central London.

IT Support Manager, IT & Network

Role Overview

The IT Support Manager will be responsible for IT services support in five UK and four European offices. Supervising a team of four support engineers and one server engineer, this role requires a candidate of very high motivation and extensive experience.



Producer, US Titles, Product Development

Role Overview

A newly created producer role, this vacancy is a great opportunity to join the dynamic ’Team America’ and work on some exciting US developed titles lined up for our forthcoming catalogue.



Senior Team Lead, 6 month fixed term contract, Quality Assurance

Role Overview

The Senior Team Leads' role is to ensure that the coordination and testing cycle of SEGA Europe product is maintained to a high standard. The overall aim is to achieve quality, bug-free code to release or submit to the respective console manufacturer for technical standards/functionality checks. The role also provides a resource of experience for the benefit of all QA members, particularly for junior Team Leads.



Team Lead, 6 month fixed term contract, Quality Assurance

Role Overview

Senior Brand Manager - Core Gaming, Central Marketing

Role Overview

The Core Gaming Group within SEGA Europe Brand Marketing is responsible for brand managing “Gaming” titles within genres such as Real Time Strategy (RTS), Role Playing Game (RPG), First Person Shooter (FPS) and Fighting across both console and PC platforms. Games from developers such as The Creative Assembly, Petroglyph and Bizarre Creations sit within the Core Gaming group and the titles are predominately non-licensed, original IP game franchises.

To fill the role of Senior Brand Manager within this group, SEGA are looking for a knowledgeable and strategically minded marketing professional who also possesses exceptional gaming knowledge. The Senior Brand Manager must lead the creation and marketing of new Core Gaming original IP products throughout Europe, managing aspects of product development, marketing strategy and key asset delivery including packaging, advertising and product websites. There is also a responsibility to act as European advocate for US developed products, offering proactive commentary, requests and where necessary amendments to US authored marketing strategy and creative briefing documents.



Business Analyst Assistant, 12 month fixed term contract, Business Planning

Role Overview

The main purpose of the role is to provide sales figures and project product demand in order to make recommendations to the business planning team and wider management structure. By collaborating with the Business Planning, A&R, PD and EMEA Sales and Marketing teams, the role will provide forecast sales and pricing analysis at the product level.

Senior Tester (QA)

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and experienced Senior Tester for our quality assurance department. Salary offered for this position will be based upon experience and skills. Duration is initially for a fixed term of 12 months.



Games Testers (QA)

We are looking for several highly enthusiastic Games Testers for our quality assurance department. Salary offered for each position will be based upon experience and skills. Duration is initially for a fixed term of 12 months.



IT Support Engineer (IT & Network)

We are looking for a new member to join a team providing first line of support for PC users in a busy studio network environment.



Lead Designer (Design)

The Creative Assembly’s console team produces games which are have always been technically at the edge of what is possible and are now visually up there with the best. The team is looking for a world class lead designer to strengthen the design side and create a “dream team” that can go on to produce a new franchise that will be a pillar of SEGA’s line up for years to come.



Producer (Production)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Producer. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing internal and external parties and will be driven by results. They must understand the principles of production and demands of deadlines and budgets.



Assistant Producer (Production)

The Creative Assembly is looking for an AP to assist on an as-yet unannounced action title for next generation consoles. We are looking for someone prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to help keep the project moving. Happy to do anything from organising a mo-cap shoot, to chairing meetings, to making a round of tea, to scheduling/project tracking.



Battlefield AI Programmer (Programming)

The Battlefield AI programmer will assist the Senior Battlefield AI programmer in the creation of a new, more advanced, generation of Total War battlefield AI. He/she will be expected to contribute to the code design as well as taking ownership of several substantial parts of the whole. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic strategy gamer, with a pro-active attitude towards continual improvement of the code.



Game Designers (Design)

The Creative Assembly is looking for intelligent, obsessive gamers to expand its design group. We are looking for both rookies and experienced designers, and will consider people who have not worked in the games industry before. Not just a player of games - someone who is driven to fully understand their internal workings and use that knowledge to win.



Artist (Art)

New positions are open for experienced artists (or very adept trainees) here at our UK studio. Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent creative, technical and visual skills.



Programmers (Programming)

We are currently looking for Programmers with a good level of software development experience. A Programmer will generally be working on one or more areas of the game together with a Senior Programmer, producing code ranging from gameplay to UI to tools.



Senior Programmers (Programming)

We are looking for new colleagues who are confident that they can contribute on multiple levels and to a high quality on the ambitious games we create at CA. A Senior Programmer's main responsibility is to efficiently produce code that adheres to the highest standards of software development. We also expect them to assist in the (technical) design and scheduling of programming tasks, and specifically to act as the mentor for one or two junior programmers on his/her team.

Reporting to the Lead Designer, the role of the Games Designer is to proactively develop the game design according to the specification.



Producers x2 (Project Team)

To manage the project team and facilitate the delivery of AAA product.



Senior Artists (Art Team)

We are currently looking for a number of Senior Artists with excellent leadership and creative ability to join the studio. The role of the Senior Artist will be ensuring a game’s graphical quality is kept consistently high, with an exciting and distinctive look while helping to provide artistic direction to the art team and offering guidance to members when needed.



Studio Operations Manager (Support)

The position of Studio Operations Manager will be a key business planning and reporting role within the studio and will help to shape the management accounting and project accounting needs. The role will work closely with the finance team in SEGA Europe and peers in other development studios to develop and deliver a core operations and finance function. This role also has an facilities/HR management element to it as described on the website.

Software Engineer Console x2 (Development)

This development role focuses on console platforms – on both existing systems and also next-gen platforms.



Tools Engineer (Development)

This development position will entail designing and implementation of bespoke tools required by the company and for ongoing projects.



Software Engineer Handheld 2 (Development)

This development role centres on handheld programming, in both design and implementation.

Scusate l'assenza, tra lavoro e feste, in sti giorni ero fuso...

Per applicare mandami il CV in mail, te la mando in PVT che e' quella di lavoro, se la pubblico qui e mi ci arriva spam, bestemmio per secoli.

Avendo poi ricevuto diverse mail, specifico una cosa, se siete in UK vi contattano loro molto volentieri, se siete in Italia e' un po' peggio, ma i dati posso passarli ugualmente.

E mentre ci siamo, che io tra qualche mese vorrei avvicinarmi, che spararmi 25miglia al giorno mi fa un po' fatica, come sono gli affitti in zona?

Dai 700 in su per uno studio flat a Richmond. (Io sto ad Egham se ricordi, ma ci ho guardato recentemente ai prezzi)

Si, c'è da spararsi sulle palle.

Se vai verso feltham, trovi dai 650 in su.

Quanto spendi di treno adesso, e quanti cambi fai per arrivare a Chiswick ?

Che fai, Windsor - Richmond e poi Richmond Chiswick ?

Per uno studio flat ancora non ci siamo, come tester sono sui 18k annui, e non posso permettermi di spendere quelle cifre per uno studioflat, quindi tocchera' andare di flatshare; di sicuro non lo faro' a breve, quindi vedo magari di trasferirmi con qualche collega.

Per i trasporti mi va molto meglio, faccio casa mia -> lavoro senza cambi, in moto :P
M'e' toccata farla intreno la settimana scorsa che avevo na gomma a terra, ed era un patire... casa mia - 30' piedi -> Maidenhead - 40' treno -> Ealing Broadway - 30/40' -> Chiswick. Al ritorno un po' di piu'.

Il CV di Sara e' gia' partito, ricevero' domani una conferma che l'han ricevuto, e poi vedremo cosa fanno, in bocca al lupo alla signora :)

Ti fai le prime due settimane in albergo (B&B che in Inghilterra costano "poco") e ti cerchi un alloggio più consono alla durata della tua avventura oltremanica.
Stai sempre in europa, tanto allo sbaraglio non vai. Cmq sono poche le aziende che si occupano anche di quegli aspetti, però ci sono alcuni italiani che potrebbero darti una mano.
Se sei giovane potrebbe essere una bellissima esperienza, soprattutto molto formativa.

ah, te lo dico prima. Non pensare di andare a divertirti perchè lavorerai in un'azienda di videogiochi. Vissuta da dentro è esattamente come una di produzione di carne in scatola. ;)
