PoM

Per le cure il fatto è che praticamente nessuna è una cura vera, ma sono tutti HoT tipo DAOC.
Il fatto è che praticamente tutti si sommano tra di loro, inoltre bisogna vedere ancora l'influenza dello spellweaving in questi casi.
Cmq in un party sarà utile avere tutti e 3 i curatori così che Bearshaman aiuta in prima linea e procca cure per i tank, ToS casta danno ad area e cure da dietro, PoM che fa i vari CC e cura pure lui.
Sommando tutti gli hot dei vari healer si andrà alla grande.. (probabilmente ne bastan 2 di questi healer, ma uno solo secondo me è poco appunto perchè le cure sono tutte HoT)
Cmq è presto per iniziare a pensare al gruppo perfetto

Sono arrivato fino a lvl 62 e sinceramente fare paragoni con le classi di daoc ha poco senso.

Forse,come ha detto Bass, può sembrare un filo simile al chierico anche se il sistema di cure cambia drasticamente e sei vestito di paglia.

Il punto sostanziale è proprio questo: all'interno delle dinamiche di gioco usare il PoM come main healer diventa quantomeno snervante...dover buttarsi dentro per far entrare la cura a cono può essere abbastanza facile in ottica pve ma praticamente impossibile in un inc pvp,dove la maggior parte delle volte ci sono i tuoi compagni ai 4 venti.

Probabilmente usando lo sbarramento fisico dei tank puoi cercare di curare con i loro corpi usati come protezione ma sapete benissimo che fra teoria e pratica durante uno scontro c'è sempre parecchia differenza.

L'unica cosa di cui sono certo è che per curare decentemente il tuo gruppo deve rimanere molto unito...quindi per i soliti damager a cui piace andare a farsi il killino per i cazzi propri e chiamare disperatamente le cure preparatevi una macro per rellare.

Sei vestito solo light e dover entrare nel mezzo della mischia ti fa arrivare addosso un po' di tutto...insomma come succederà anche in WHO la tendenza per quanto riguarda i curatori sta drasticamente cambiando: il main healer con le mega cure che cerca di stare defilato e che si preoccupa solo di kitare e tenere su il party difficilmente lo rivedremo operativo per ora.

Dal punto di vista dell'output damage fa davvero moolto male,in effetti sia lo Smite che il Cleansing Flames spaccano e dalla marea di feedback che i soliti atapirati stanno facendo sulle official board penso che verranno sicuramente ritoccati,spero in un ottica meno danno--più cure ma questo è un parere puramente soggettivo.

Come esempio pratico anche se alla fine non conta un cazzo in 1vs1 facendo le solite prove contro tutte le classi non ho mai perso,neanche contro un assassino che mi è arrivato da dietro provando l'exploit del oneshot (ve lo spiego un altra volta).

Che dire ancora...ah...a livello di CC c'è un interessante repulse (stun pbaoe+danno) che fa sempre comodo quando ne hai addosso tanti.

Da non dimenticare lo sprint più rapido dei tank (hehehe sapete già a cosa serve).

Tirando le somme a parte qualche solito problema di poco mana ed alcuni cooldown un po' troppo lenti è una classe interessante,l'ho giocato per la maggior parte del tempo in coppia con un Demo e ci siamo divertiti parecchio.

Non voglio creare inutili polemiche ma facendo anche la closed su who ho notato una maggiore "profondità" delle classi...mi spiego meglio: su aoc per ora e sottolineo per ora c'è quel qualcosa in più che ti fa apprezzare maggiormente ogni singola classe, mentre sul titolo della Mythic ho notato una certa uniformità.

cmq io aspetterei un paio di mesi per "giudicare" e parlare di gruppo ideale, bisogna provare tutto, per quanto utile sia stata la beta, non è idale basarsi esclusivamente su quella e\o su info lette online

-PVE-
I'd first like to start this thread off by saying that the PoM is an incredibley fast and efficient leveler due to the mass amount of AoE they can produce by putting points into their Vengeance tree. I was killing anywhere between 2-8 mobs at a time, my same level or a bit lower/higher depending on what cooldowns were up. Here is how I did it.

I placed all of my points into the vengeance tree at first, avoiding Cleansing Fire until I got Purification of Mitra, Glowing Radiance, Revivication and Searing Light.
-Purification of Mitra gives my 2 basic HoT spells AoE holy damage,
-Glowing Radiance/Searing Light allows my 60 sec burst heal to give a 5% damage increase and also provides holy AoE damage when used.
-Revivication places a HoT on me when struck in melee combat (VERY useful)

Then I turned my attention towards the general tree, placing points into Ether Flow, Spirit Armor, and Saintly Warrior.
Ether Flow - Gives OOC and IC mana regen (scales with level)
Spirit Armor - Gives some immunities, helps somewhat but it's required for Saintly Warrior
Saintly Warrior - When struck in melee combat you recieve mana in return (how any priest class can tell me they go OOM is a nutjob and should uninstall)

After that I dabbled with featuring into divinity for the holy damage increase and improved repulse. Also tried going deeper into Vengeance tree for improved hand of mitra and a few other neat features. In the end it didnt matter what I did, the skills i mentioned above were what really mattered.

Killing mobs were LOTS of fun. This class really is the CC/AoE class. I'd pull mobs with a Smite, start loading Emenation of Life as they ran to me. Emenation of Life goes off, I cast a quick Wave of Life, and then cast Repulse (the PoM's famed AoE knock back) knocking all of the mobs back. As the mobs lay on the ground from the AoE knock back I would either wait for Wave of Life's cool down to refresh or cast radiance. By this time, the mobs should be very close to dead, if not dead. Bigger pulls required a health potion, but in the end I tore apart my XP bar and flew through zones faster then I could with my assassin ever dreamed of.

Also, Hand of Mitra is nice if you're feeling like a dare devil. It basically grants you immunity from damage and the duration is based on the level of the skill (I have taken almost 12 mobs at a time using this skill, but trying this usually ended in me getting owned)

-Group Play-
I soloed to 80. ATM, I'm the only person I know of that isn't in RoA that is level 80 to group with, so finding a group for end game stuff is a bit hard for now. However, yesterday I grouped with some of them to test the Scorpion Cave. Since my feats above were very solo based, I untrained and went deep into Divinity, and took advantage of the Priest's hate modifiers in the general tree.

My PoM's healing in the group were very nice. The skills I used most often were of course my two HoTs;Wave of Life and Emenation of life, both buffed by Light of Mitra were very friendly to my group's mana/stam regen in combat. Lance of Mitra was an awesome skill to heal the melee dps and tank, as it is a cone effect + it does about 600-800 damage and heals around 250 per nuke. And during boss fights I had to use Radiance, of course.

-PVP-
I'v not yet tried PVP with a PoM, I'm on the PvE server. But the PoM do have a fear and a stun. At level 75 iirc they recieve a large AoE snare as well that could be useful in pvp.

Fino pochi giorni fa, il pom aveva un bug su un feat che permetteva di aumentarne il danno a dismisura, molti dei feedback con danni troppi alti fatti fanno riferimento a questa situazione che non esiste più.

eh beh, comodissimo avere un gruppo formato da 3 healer su 6 slot :nod:

per me si finirà a non usarli per niente e puntare tutto sul dps stile "t'ammazzo prima che riesci ad ammazzare me"

secondo me sarà inevitabile mettere i curatori. I boss faranno sicuramente troppo male per reggere.

ero convinto fin dall'inizio di fare il pom, rassegnato ad essere healer per una volta...mo a sentire sti feedback sbavo, dps aoe, cc, nonchè ruolo da "healer primario"...sbav!
