Wow. Our first experiment with server clustering was an enormous success, one that vastly exceeded our most optimistic expectations. There were over fifteen hundred players in the clustered frontier last night. In fact, it was almost too popular! So, here’s our game plan:





We’re going to rebalance our first cluster to have three servers, and send Iseult to head up her own group. We had planned on waiting through the weekend before introducing our second cluster, but we’ve decided that the cluster of Iseult, Kay, and Pellinor will go live today. I am very sorry I could not provide more warning, but I think you all will be having a great time this evening.


One thing, though – one of the challenges with clustering (and one of the things that delayed last night’s cluster launch) is getting the housing zones linked up properly. In order to make sure you all aren’t waiting all night, the housing zones for the two clusters will remain down until tomorrow morning. If you’re camped in a housing zone, here’s what you should do: Nothing. We are working on a process that will automatically move players from the housing zone to their bindpoints when they try to log in.


Here’s the schedule – Gawaine/Bors/Palomides will return at about 1:00 PM. Iseult/Kay/Pellinor will be back at around 4:00 PM. Remember, that’s just my best guess at this time, and I’ll update the Herald whenever I get more information.

Ma io dico che sei lo stesso di L4P, è che non vuoi ammettere di essere passato anche tu dal gioco dei pokemon prima di DAoC :D .

Su me che non c'ho mai giocato ;) . Sto nick ce l'ho dall'Aprile del 2001/02(nn ricordo l'anno :awk: ).

Il mio primo gioco online vero e proprio è stato DAoC :p .

Può darsi in una mia vita precedente ho giocato a L4P, ma non ci scommetterei :D.
