da quel poco che ho giocato con un vampiir (1-50, equip toa, ml1-4) posso dirti che:
1)shadow mastery va bene se giochi da solo, hai speed self, haste self e HoT self che vanno bene contro nemici solitari; danni mediocri, l'unica cosa utile per il gruppo è lo snare
2) dementia già fa danno discreti, ottimi se riesci a usare lo stile giusto topo il debuff amor... difficile da usare ma buoni danni con un po' di pratica
3)embrace non è male, hai una buona WS qundi danni a metà tra quelli scrausi di SM e quelli uber di debuff+called shot di dementia .. per il resto ti incollo qui un paio di considerazioni che mi sembrano utili

shadow have a claw, and VE have a claw
shadow is heat, VE is matter, most enemys have this resis on cap, so there is not really a different, both is good

than we have there shadow parry and for VE evade...
both is like the same too, both is good

than we have shadow snare and for VE weapon buff
snare is good in 8vs8, weapon buff is also good

> weapon buff is far (talking to riddermark he has 2224 weapon skill) greater dmg, the snare is also great.

than to shadow, i have here also endu leech (which is good imo, because when some bards forget to play endu, and this happen sometimes, i can leech nice endu)

than shadow have the life drain, i like it, value 300, and i cast it very often, and it helps me to stay alive longer...

shadow have also a haste buff, but i dont really use this, this is the only thing i dont use...

so than to VE...

we have here the buff (stealth detection) i dont know if this is so good, in a group or zerg, i would say when you run solo and camp somewhere, is this a good ability, and for solo vamps...

than the next thing is VE debuff fumble...
its a nice ability, when i debuff them, they getting like confus and fumble there style..

the last thing is in VE npc Dismissal
i dont know, do i really use this in rvr?

okay, thats all, and now to the end....

- the good thinks in shadow are: 1. snare (good for 8vs8) 2. claw (good everywhere and always) 3. life drain (i can live longer)

- the good thinks in VE: 1. weapon buff (i make more dam) 2. claw (good too) 3. fumble (its nice in 8vs8, but dont know if you use it often in a zerg)

Ma se scorri questo forum di qualche pagina trovi circa 150mila post che discutono sempre di come si dovrebbe speccare un vamp :)
Controlla che c sono info molto utili per farti un' idea
