European Players Denied U.S. Server Access

Players with European IP addresses are now unable to purchase game codes for playing on U.S. servers.[1] As a result, all new purchases of City of Heroes, City of Villains, and premium account upgrade options from NCsoft within Europe are effectively denied for non-European server access. This action was implemented without any advance warning, other than an announcement that the option to transfer accounts from U.S. servers to to European servers would be disabled[2], with no warning that new accounts and premium account upgrades would be denied to European players.

The motives behind this decision are subject only to speculation, but a post in the official NCsoft forums offering to facilitate Europeans obtaining codes for playing on U.S. servers was deleted. Since NCsoft doesn't wish for messages pertaining to such an offer to be posted on their site, I (TonyV) will echo it here:

If anyone wants to get a U.S. code, drop me a PM or e-mail me at tonyv@pcfreepress.com and we'll see if we can work out getting you one through PayPal or something. (But that's just a friendly offer; if I start getting hundreds of requests or people don't pay me back, I'll stop.)

If you wish to contact me via forum private message regarding this offer, please do so on the Paragon Forums instead of NCsoft's forums, as I do wish to respect their decision not to have messages of such a subject posted or sent via their forums.

Se ho capito bene, ncsoft nn vende + codici US ai giocatori con ip europeo e nn si potrà manco più trasferire i pg da US--->EU.
Non ho capito se noi europei possiamo loggare ora in America o meno, spero di si o che almeno mi facciano giocare finche nn expirano i giorni che ho pagano senno li mando tutti a fanculo!!


A sto punto me ne ritorno in EU e fanculo a sti americani....ora che stavo per 50antare il tank e volevo pure comprarmi cov USA.

Molto strano, così all'improvviso poi.
Tra l'altro non più di un mesetto fa io e Blinck ci siamo fatti convertire dal support la key EU di CoV in key USA...
Il problema dei server EU, che è quello per cui stiamo giocando in USA, è che hanno popolazione mediamente molto bassa, tipo 400-500 player nelle ore di punta.

Cmq il deny si riferisce al code purchase tramite il sito ufficiale, ci sono n modi per prenderlo per altre vie e giocare lo stesso, non è che bannano le classi di indirizzamento europee dai server di gioco USA.

Visto che ci siamo, postete qualche sito affidabile ed economico per comprare la key.

PlayNC European Store Update

According to ThinIce on the official forums, the following message was received by support regarding the inability for players to order game and upgrade codes for servers outside of their region:

"We apologise for the inconvenience, however if you cannot currently see the option to purchase a US serial code, this will be changed in a few days. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience." [1]

It now appears that the change to the stores was intended only to be a default, not to lock players into playing on certain servers. More updates will be posted as received.

Teoricamente si, però nn ho capito se la tipa che aveva postato che nn riusciva a comprare la key era un americana o un europea.

Fatto sta che su ncsoft vendono solo per EU, e lo si trova a 15dollari, mentre negli altri siti sta a 20 dollari :gha:

Mi sa che hanno rimesso la possibilità di comprare su playNC CoV USA.

Basta clikkare sotto il link "US version also available." e dovrebbe essere tutto apposto :D.
