This week’s patch focuses on bug fixing for various heroes, as well as adding new unique items (as well as adjusting some based on community feedback) and more changes to Legendary Quests. In addition, we have enabled the group queue system for endgame modes (starting with X-Defense for now, and we’ll expand it soon).
QUEUE SYSTEM
As of 1.41, when you enter X-Defense, you'll be given the option to be placed in a group with other players. If you choose to, you'll be put into the queue as it finds you a suitable group to start playing with. Please let us know of any issues you may come across, as the current plan is to roll out this system to all endgame activities in a future patch.
HERO CHANGES
General Changes
Heroes For Hire, Groot, and Dora Milaje summons will all now regenerate health passively in addition to their other abilities Fixed an issue where some heroes could summon their allies multiple times.
Emma Frost
Emma's controlled minions will now start to follow at a closer distance.
Luke Cage
Accelerated Healing Factor has been merged into Superhuman Leverage and Unbreakable Skin.
Superhuman Leverage now provides critical rating instead of critical damage.
Combo Fighter now increases base damage of finishers, not critical damage.
Cold Shoulder's move speed per rank has been reduced. The duration of the buff has been doubled.
Dempsey Roll no longer has a cooldown.
Vehicular Manslaughter's damage has been doubled. Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds (down from 12).
Fixed an issue where Luke Cage’s summons would stop attacking after changing zones.
Hero's Call is now Luke Cage's signature power. The cooldown has been reduced to one minute, and the power has been redesigned. All four Heroes for Hire are summoned temporarily and are invulnerable while summoned. They do not refer to points in the base summon powers - points in Hero's Call are all that determine the power of the summons. The passive component that enabled the Heroes to grant auras to the team has been migrated into the base summon powers.
Heroes for Hire summons will no longer be disabled from use when they are alive, causing players to be unable to summon them in areas they should be able to. As a result, Hero's Call will now summon a temporary version of a Hero for Hire who is currently active as Luke's permanent summon.
Ms. Marvel
Stellar Flare: Post activation buff duration now scales correctly with Photonic Energy consumption
Punisher
Punisher’s arsenal has been upgraded! Many of Punisher’s powers have been updated with new visuals including Flamethrower, Deadly Barrage, Shotgun Blast, Impact Shot, and Deadly Shot.
Punisher will no longer stop moving when certain ranged powers are applied.
Punisher's Franken-Castle is now available in honor of Halloween!
Rocket Raccoon
The dodge rating bonus on Rocket Raccoon's Cunning Plan power has been restored to its pre-1.4 values, as intended.
Squirrel Girl
Fixed Squirrel Pet’s aggro range so they should now be much more aggressive.
Fixed an issue that allowed Squirrel Smarts to stack.
Squirrel Girl’s dodge and defense will no longer scale to improperly high amounts.
Squirrel Saboteurs: Increased collision size slightly.
Squirrelpocalypse: Spirit cost reduced to 25 from 30.
Spider-Man
Fixed an issue with Spider-Man’s Web Zipline showing a channeled bar.
Fixed bug with Spider-Man's Web Spray not applying consistent vulnerability
Fixed a movement hitch issue with Spider-Man's Webswing Attack.
Fixed an issue where Spider-Man players were able to use their Ultimate before level 52. This issue was causing Spider-Man players over level 30 to respec every time they logged in.
Fixed an issue with "Spidey Pummel" not granting +50% damage to webbed enemies for "Spider To The Fly".
Fixed Spider-Man's "Spidey Pummel" not animating properly with Symbiote Costume, and applying wrong animations to other costumes!
Spider-Man's "Leaping Assault" is no longer considered a "Melee" power.
Spider-Man's "Web Yank" now applies webbed and benefits from"Corrosive Webbing" effects.
Fixed bug with Spider-Man's "Webswing Attack" not enjoying +50% damage from Spider To The Fly.
Fixed bug with Spider-Man's "Spider-Sense" counter attack triggering on ranged attacks Updated Superior Spider-Man's run animation.
Removed Web Attack keyword from Spider-Man's Whirlwind.
ITEM CHANGES
New uniques added.
Tequila's Hard-Boiled (Deadpool Unique): Clarified that the defense boost is triggered when you are attacked (dodged, blocked, hit), and added +1 Fighting to the item.
Helm of the Skyfather (Thor Unique): Increased defense, added crit damage, added brutal strike damage, added chance when you are attacked to enter Odinrage gaining crit ratind and brutal strike rating.
Tasker's Treads (Cable Unique): changed the damage reduction to percentile and added a cooldown to the effect.
Locket of the Lords Cardinal (Emma Frost Unique): increased the attack speed of the Cyclops pet.
Costume cores will no longer drop with zero affixes.
Fixed an issue where Awesome Animal Balloons buffs were not persisting after logging out or on switching heroes. Awesome Animal Balloons now give a +20% defense buff
MISSION CHANGES
XP, Legendary Orbs and Odin Marks will not disappear when the player dies and respawns away from the currencies.
Credits will now properly drop for completely a Legendary Quest.
OTHER BUG FIXES
Fixed a UI issue preventing players from easily switching difficulty modes.
