ciao a tutti devo fare una trad inglese - ita sulla biografia di uno scultore del periodo cubista, Lipchitz
ci sono alcuni passi che non mi sono chiari, se qualcuno sa e/o lavora con l'inglese e ci butta un'occhiata mi fa un favore grazie.
in neretto i dubbi / possibili error
1) He himself ( si riferisce a Lipchitz) thought, however, that he first came into contact with Gris on the premises of Lèonce Rosenberg, the art dealer.
Tuttavia egli stesso pensava di essere entrato per la prima volta in contatto con Gris sulla proprietà/nei colali/nella sede di Léonce Rosenber, il commerciante d'arte.
2) In Gris's case, the process remained pictorial, but he did venture to render the strictly flat surface ambivalent by inserting a second, illusionistic space ( ex. a door or a window) in it. In other words, the hermetic aspect weakened and became, as he put it, "less dry and more plastic", with less fear of the suggestion of a physicality which also allowed volume.
Nel caso di Gris, il processo rimase a livello pittorico, ma si avventurò a rendere ambivalente la superficie totalmente piatta inserendovi un secondo, illusionistico spazio (es. una porta o una finestra). In altre parole, l'aspetto ermetico si indebolì e divenne, come lo descrisse, “meno arido e più plastico”, con minor paura dell'idea di fisicità che anche consentiva il volume.
consentire va bene o meglio un altro termine ? è l'idea che consentiva il volume ?
3) In 1925, Le Corbusier's pavillon de l'Esprit Nouveau in Paris, whit paintings by Legèr and Le Corbusier, acted like a magnet on the avant-garde, which was influenced - albeit critically and not unanimously - by the ideas that were being developed by such as Le Corbusier.
Nel 1925, il Padiglione de L'Esprit Nouveau di Le Corbusier a Parigi, con pitture di Lèger e Le Corbusier, agì come un magnete sull'avanguardia, che fu influenzata – anche se criticamente e non unanimemente – dalle idee che si stavano sviluppando come quelle di Le Corbusier.

4) Lipchitz suddely had the insight re required for stepping outside his previuous achievements. In these he had developed a heavy monumental and monolithic kind of sculpture into an advanced abstraction through the reduction of component parts, which were telescoped into a closed vertical entity.
A complete re-orientation via reliefs opened up opportunities for a number of suppressed elments. The tempering of abstraction for the sake of a more pronunced human element, a freer kind of play in which openness acted a part of its own, immediately reduced the weight of volume.
Lipchitz ebbe improvvisamente l'intuizione necessaria per andare oltre le sue precedenti conquiste. In queste aveva sviluppato un tipo di scultura monumentale e monolitica in un'astrazione avanzata attraverso la riduzione delle parti componenti, che furono condensati in un'entità strettamente verticale.
Un completo riorientamento attraverso i rilievi aprì le opportunità per un numero di elementi soppressi. La tempra dell'astrazione per l'interesse di un più pronunciato elemento umano, un tipo più libero di gioco in cui l'ampiezza aveva una propria parte, ridusse immediatamente il peso del volume.
Non mi suona la prima in neretto. Nella seconda tempra si può sostituire con altro ? Nella terza gioco ?
5) (parlando di una scultura). Without introducing any anatomy, LIpchitz managed to gather together curves with a restricted volume, a diagonal, percings, and tilted cube, combine them in an s-shape, and create a flowing figure in which the torso disappeared as volume and became manifest as open space.
Senza introdurre alcun elemento anatomico, Lipchitz riuscì a riunire insieme curve con un volume ristretto, una diagonale, lacerazioni, e un cubo inclinato, combinarli in una forma ad S, e creare una figura fluida in cui il busto scompariva come volume e diventava manifesto come spazio aperto.
