ML2 Raid on Saturday, and there are 2 steps you must have done before the raid. You will need a North Hall Gate Key to get one of them done, so make sure you have it before you head in.

Trial 5: Chath’s Test of Strategy: single group
I used to require this step be done before the raid, and I urge people to do it if possible still, but with the near insta repop time of the chess pieces, that is not so necessary anymore, as it wont slow down the raid too much if you have to do it for several groups. Anyone who has not yet completed the trial can walk up to a chess piece and choose to associate themselves with it. Each piece can be set to have different abilities. Generally I have the set up like this: Pawn – stun, Bishop – heal, King – command, Queen – drain, Knight – weaken, Rook – defend. Once all pieces have been given an ability, talk to Chath at the other end of the room. The pieces then duke it out using the abilities you gave them, when either king dies, the battle is over, if your king lives, you win.
*This trial can be done with even 1 person, if you don’t have a full group. Just associate yourself with a piece and give it an ability, then disassociate yourself. The piece will retain the ability you gave it. Associate yourself with the next piece and give it it’s ability. Do this until all pieces are taken care of, then talk to Chath.
Trial 8: Stand Fast – Solo (have this done before the raid)
To the right of the crack room is the South Hall Gate. This gate has been set to permanently be open. Walk into it and speak to Amenemhat. Eventually he will fly up to the top of the room, and you have to run up the spiral ramp to reach him. Stick against the wall on your way up or you will agro deep purple crocodiles. Once up there, when you step onto the pad he will attack you. This mob takes on the same characteristics of whatever class you are. If you are a healer class and you need to heal yourself, step off the pad and he will break combat. Fix yourself up and then step back on.

The rest is BG and will be done during the raid

Che dire , se c'e' qualcuno che e' interessato e ne ha voglia potrebbe essere una buona occasione per fare la prima ML con l'ally...

Se posso permettermi di darvi un consiglio (non so chi di voi ha già fatto la ML2 ma mi diceva alessio che ancora di gilda non è stata fatta)...

Per fare qualcosa di ally aspettate la ML3...

La 2 si fa bene in 2 gruppi, specie se ci sono chierici con bof e menestrelli che abbiano il croccodile ring a 10 (non so se ce ne sono).

Se siete in tanti finisce che passate piu' tempo ad aspettare che a combattere, mi spiego:

Lo step 2.8 si fa in solo e sono circa 5 minuti per uno;
Lo step 2.5 si fa max in 1 gruppo e sono altri 5-10 minuti per uno;
Un altro step accetta max 16 pg in battlegroup ed è uno scontro non pesissimo cmq il mob va zergato per bene dai tank.

Lo step finale in piu' di 2 e FORSE 3 gruppi è un suicidio, per chi non lo conosce lo spiego in due parole:

Bisogna salire in cima al Sobekite Eternal, e riuscire ad entrare nello stanzone del tempio evitando assolutamente l'aggro dei cobra che girano fuori (e che non serve a nulla segare, ripoppano istant).

Dentro la stanza bisogna mantenere le distanze tra i pg, ammucchiarsi equivale a far scattare trappole che nukano aoe per una somma di danni che può facilmente oneshottare un caster in stoffa.

Una botta di lag di chiunque, dovuta alla troppa gente, fa si che i cobra rossi che sono fuori entrino dalle aperture nelle pareti (non è un bug di aggro, è proprio aperto), e c'è la concreta possibilità che lo step vada a pallino.

(noi abbiamo fatto la ML2 la settimana scorsa su Lancelot Hib e in 2 gruppi ci sono voluti 3 tentativi per fare il mob finale, con un paio di pg sempre pronti al quit in caso andasse male).

Se avete un teurgo terra portatevelo, è molto importante che abbia con se mcl e pozze di mana a iosa, per spammare almeno per l'inizio dello scontro col mob finale, il pbt singolo sul main tank del raid (il pbt da 6 secondi non va bene, il mob mena come 2 fabbri e swinga veloce)... solo che il pbt singolo consuma l'8% del potere a ogni cast quindi finite il mana in 20 secondi, quindi le pozze sono fondamentali. Tanto piu' c'e' la bolla a disposizione del tank che ha l'aggro, tanto piu' mana risparmiano i chierici e i preti per curare.

Ogni tanto il mob evoca dei cobra gialli arancio, i tank che menano il mob (4 tank, non uno di piu', e disposti ai 4 lati del mob) non devono assolutamente mollare il mob e soprattutto non stickarlo, perche' se vi fa muovere e vi ammucchia dietro di lui scatta la trappola che nukka di brutto. I cobra li fanno i maghi fire e/o ice da lontano nukkando insieme, van giu' easy e non fanno danno a nessuno.

ML1 on Friday (to make up for the Saturday one that had to be canceled)

Here are the steps you need to have done again. Make sure you do them, or you won\\\'t get credit for ML1. Also, save any items you get as auto drops from the steps, as they are used later on.


Trial 1: Survivor - Single group (have this done before the raid)
Location: 40k 22k Anatole
Get a well balanced group and talk to Ianetor who is located on the bridge connecting the center island to the outer ones. After you have talked to him you have 1 minute to take a maximum of 8 people on to the center island. After the minute timer, 3 giant fire elementals will appear named Sunkaio, Aithos, and Zopuero. Your first target is Sunkaio. Have everyone in your raid get as close as possible to Sunkaio (melee range) and attack him when everyone is close. If anyone is out of melee range, they will get nuked with a massive AE damage spell. Use fire resist if you have it. When he dies, move on to Zopuero. Zop has 3 flames that appear near him. You should never actually attack Zop, only his flames. Stunning them with slam works best, as they disappear almost immediately after taking damage, only to repsawn a few moments later. After you have caused enough damage to the flames, Zopuero will die. Move on to Aithos, he is just straight melee fight, nothing special about
him.
*Once you have begun the encounter, only 8 people can be on or near the island. Anyone too close to the center island while standing on the bridge will be killed by lesser fire elementals, and anyone attempting to gain access to the island from the water will be killed by fire traps.

Trial 2: Retrieval - Single group (have this done before the raid)
Location: Begins at 27k 25k in Meso
Speak to the NPC named Lornas, she gives you a story about a thief you need to kill and his general area. His name is Borjan and he can spawn at 3 different locations. If she tells you he is south and west he will be at 27k 43k on a big rock. If he is in Sky territory, he will be at 5k 19k. If he is near the Sanctuary, he will be at 29k 7k. He's a blue con mob.

Trial 4: Barrier - Single group (have this done before the raid)
Location: 27k 31k Hesperos
In the sea weed on the ocean floor there is a mob named Fadrin surrounded by a barrier. Attack the barrier and once it has been destroyed, you will have to kill the mob inside. He is red con.
*After completing this trial a belt will be placed in the inventory of one of your group members. It is used to neutralize the traps on trial 1.6

Trial 5: Conflict - Solo (have this done before the raid)
Location: 50k 36k Anatole (underwater in the bay next to Valcanus Haven)
Swim down until you see a cluster of mobs near the ocean floor. Off to the side is a mob named Lady Farahnaz. Speak to her and get the quest. Then talk to Lord Krojer and challenge one of his minions, it does not matter which, each of them has some unique ability when you fight them. After you have challenged them, they will swim out into the open area. Have only the person who issued the challenge follow, and speak to the NPC after he stops moving. At that point you have 10 seconds to prepare for a fight. If you kill one, you need only to speak to Lady Farahnaz again to get credit for the trial. If you take the time to kill all the champions, you will receive a ring with decent stats.

7 pm est che cazzo è? l orario da noi? o USA est?

Dopo un attenta analisi siamo giunti alla conclusione che noi siam 6 ore in avanti rispetto l'orario EST .

Per cui per quello che riguarda il ML2 la partenza sarà quindi :

1 p.m. EST = 13,00 EST + 6 ore (fuso orario) = 19,00 (italia)

Come ha detto jarsil sicuramente ci sara' da penare a questa ML , c'e' da dire pero' che :

1) E' un occasione per farci conoscere e vedere dal resto dell'ally

2) Noi tre gruppi di 50 al momento non li mettiamo insieme , e anche a livello di classi non siamo competitivi come i Legio in veste Hibba.

Io personalmente non sono sicuro di esserci questo sabato , ma consiglio a tutti quanti di darsi da fare e se non hanno altri impegni di unirsi a quest'uscita.

Un paio di ulteriori consigli per chi la farà con gli yankee: per nessuna ragione, ma proprio nessuna, i named dei vari step devono essere cliccati, selezionati, ecc.

Non ci dovete parlare a meno che il raid leader non lo dica espressamente: un paio di encounter almeno, in questa ML, partono nel momento in cui si clicca il mob, per cui è fondamentale, assolutamente, che prima si sia tutti belli pronti e con le abilità necessarie cariche, altrimenti è molto, molto easy mandare in vacca 20 minuti di passeggiata ;)

Se poi vi servono dei dettagli piu' precisi della ML vedo di scrivere un post apposito.

Ora come ora siamo impegnati nella ML3 che è forse la peggiore di tutte in quanto a difficoltà organizzativa, occorre davvero uno zerg non indifferente e soprattutto per i 9/10 è sott'acqua nel Temple of Twilight a Oceanus Notos :gha:

appena finita ml1 con sash e azzo e' un ottima guida per fare le ml ( e in + oltremodo paziente ) .. peccato che io nn l'ho completata ( mi mancavano 2 step ) :( :(

la ml2 sicuramente mi tocchera' saltarla che sabato alle 19:00 e' proprio un orario del cazz .... ( ma gli americani nn fanno nulla sabato sera?! )
