The Savage Gladiator set is actually of item level 200s (superior), equivalent to the item level of a heroic instance. So, in much the same way that you might expect a player to first gear up in normal mode instances and get a handful of ilevel 187s items before proceeding to the heroics, the philosophy is that in the pvp case players will get the 187s crafted pvp items before attempting endgame pvp activity.

Ci sara' un set PvP craftabile che sara' paragonabile - come qualita' - ai drop delle istanze normal.

I pezzi del Savage Gladiator saranno ottenibili, anche a rating sub-1500, con i punti che si prendono dal fare 10 arene in una settimana.
In pratica: 5/6 settimane per il full equip PARE (da quanto si capisce) tutto senza rating minimo.

Sembra che abbiano in programma qualcosa per evitare gli scontri tra high e low ranking in arena.
E poi conclude con una serie di affermazioni che han fatto incazzare non poca gente, su come i BG non possono essere un metro di giudizio per la skill dei giocatori (vero) e le arene si (falso), e che quindi non metteranno un equip basato esclusivamente sull'honor (come in tanti chiedevano) perche' altrimenti si rischierebbe un appiattimento degli equip tra tutti quanti.

Boh... non viene fatta menzione delle armi, ma solo degli armorset.
Io credo che il discorsino del "mettiamo l'armorset acquistabile con gli arena point ma senza rating" sia anche giusto... ma son pronto a scommettere che per le armi il rating ci sara', eccome :D
