Speaking of rewards, the Fractals of the Mist Dungeon will introduce the new ‘Ascended' item type. This type is a bit more powerful than the Exotic quality items currently found in the game. There will only be a couple of Ascended quality items available initially, but some of the rarer Ascended items will also feature a new Infusion slot that will make players even more powerful so that they can tackle new challenges that ArenaNet plans to throw at them as they continue to expand on the dungeon over the coming months and years.
Si, ma questa è la roba scritta da mmorpg.com (e per la quale è nato il megathread enraged sul forum ufficiale), e non è detto che sia davvero così. Quante volte da testate varie son state dette N cose poi puntualmente smentite? Vediamo che dice A.net, al limite questo weekend si saprà qual è la verità e buonanotte al secchio.
ma fanculo al pve, iniziassero a fixare il pvp e a mettere una cazzo di ladder non quella merda di QP
io infatti piuttosto che preoccuparmi dell'ennessimo dungeon dove il massimo della meccanica è schivare il colpo x o evitare il red circle y avrei fixato i 10000 bug del necro e delle altre classi oltre ad introdurre finalmente ste cazzo di ladder in spvp
iniziate pure a whinare, gli ascended (per ora solo gioielli e back slot pare) saranno meglio degli exotic e a quanto pare aumenteranno pure le stats delle leggendarie (non ho capito se ora o in futuro) per portarle a livello della roba ascended
il gear treadmill post-exotic è arrivato :nod: (oddio se si fermassero agli ascended come stats e potenziassero solo le infusion per il pve, mi potrebbe anche andare quasi bene...)
One of the primary design purposes for the Ascended item tier is to bridge the gap between Exotic gear (which fairly casual players can have a reasonable certainty of acquiring without too much angst) and Legendaries (which are for the hardest of hardcores). Specifically, Ascended items will be used specifically to combat new endgame mechanics. Foes within the new Fractals of the Mists dungeon will inflict Agony on players. Agony can only be mitigated by Infusions, which can be put only into Ascended armor. As players get to higher levels of difficulty within the dungeon, they will eventually find a point at which they have to counter Agony (by Infusions) before they can hope to proceed. Rather than being upgraded with normal components, Ascended gear has upgrades built-in, and upgrade slots have been repurposed into Infusion slots.
November's update will include only Ascended rings and back items. More Infusions and Ascended item types will be added with time. When Ascended items are added to the game, Legendary weapons will be updated so they are still the best available option (as opposed to being on-par with Exotic weapons, as they currently are).

ma hanno stat piu alte... di poco però visto che non puoi mettere l'upgrade normale... 5 power e 5 prec nell'esempio del blog

Non è solo roba pve, è roba migliore dell'exotic come statistiche, con in più uno slot solo per il pve.

be il paragone mostra un item DECISAMENTE migliore (almeno in pve) e non di poco...
nel frattempo c'è un topic di 2500+ reply sul forum ufficiale con il 95% della gente che si lamenta di sta cosa :rotfl: il tutto in meno di 12 ore :rotfl:
l'aumento nell'esempio è di 5 power 5 precision perche non puoi mettere l'upgrade slot. (che è incorporato nell'item)Quote:

Un po' come andare (al vecchio wow) in pvp senza resilience... ti scoppiano a vista..
per pve si, è necessario ma non per le stat ma per le infusion. che da quanto ho capito funzionano un po come le ward di warhammer (arghhh)
per wvw ce un aumento di stat netto ma minimo.
rimane uno mossa senza senso.
Questo è l'inizio, poi arriveranno anche armatura ed armi con la stessa logica.
