We understand that you are encountering problems logging on to the FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta test site. There are few reasons why this could be happening.
Access to FFXIV beta testers site has not been activated yet. When a player is selected to participate to the FFXIV beta tests, the first email received will confirm the selection. However access to the official testers'site will become available at a later date stated in the email received. Please carefully check your selection email to find out when you should have access from.
If you cannot log in at the time specified in your selection email, there may be a browser issue. The Beta Test website saves login details through the use of browser cookies. However, certain users may experience troubles logging in by using a specific web browser.
If you are experiencing login issues, you are asked to either try again at a later time or logout directly through this URL:
https://dev-eu.ffxiv.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=logout.
Once you have done so, try logging back in.
If you are unable to log in because you have lost your Square Enix Account ID and/or password, here are a couple of tips to confirm your login details:
- you can find your Square Enix account login ID by checking the inbox of the email address you received the FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Tester Selection Announcement email on,
- you can retrieve your Square Enix password via the 'Forgot your password' feature on the Square Enix Account management System website,

Please note that access to the actual test phase of the game is limited to specific time windows. Please check the home page of the forum for the latest announcements or the following section of the forum to keep up to date with the latest test periods for the 10th Alpha Test:
