no gramas tu stai facendo un copia e incolla con minchiate postate da dodicenni su forum da proplayer della ceppa quando TECNICAMENTE quello che dici non solo non ha senso, ma non è neanche possibile.
Quindi qua abbiamo tu, uno che nn sa minimamente come funzioni un lcd, che confronta la frequenza di un lcd con quella di un crt, che non ha mai giocato su un lcd, che parla per sentito dire contro io (noi) che postiamo dati TECNICI conoscendo quantomeno come funzionano le due tecnologie a grandi linee e avendo un lcd (e un crt lo avevano tutti mica solo tu).
Pensare che tu abbia ragione mi riesce difficilissimo.secondo me è il contrario, si parlava di scia nel 2005, va che era due anni fa che si diceva che nn si possono usare lcd al buio, siamo nel 2007 uuuh.
discorso fps, gli fps NON VENGONO MASSIMIZZATI per questioni di vista umana ma per questioni di fluidità (se li cappi non oscillano), fisica, prestazioni. Sopra i 28-30 fps un occhio umano non percepisce le differenze e questa è ottica, il dodicenne che dice PEEEH IO CON 120 fps MIRO MEGLIO PERCHE' CI VEDO DI PIU' o non è umano o non sa un cazzo, i film secondo voi quanti fps hanno? E cmq basta provare (grama non può ma sylli si) pijati HL2 ficcalo a 1280 che ti va a 300fps e vedi com'è, poi attiva i vsync e vedi che in resa nn noti la differenza :)

Non ho mai giocato su un lcd lo dici sempre tu.
Quando parlo di hz,ripeto,parlo "fuori" dalla risoluzione standard degli lcd.Il chè li rende inutili a qualsiasi altre risoluzioni.

Non mi invento troiate.Questi sono solo i motivi per cui non vengono utilizzati.
Il discorso fps era stato fatto in generale sui giochi,e 100 sono indubbiamente meglio di 30 per le motivazioni che hai dato.Non è che l'occhio umano ne vede più di 30--_--
Da ex UTer vi assicuro che giocare un FPS su un LCD è castrante...
Non è un particolare da tralasciare quello della risoluzione nativa... se la modifichi si verifica il famoso scavallamento di pixel... con tanto di appannamento e perdita di allineamento dei caratteri... inoltre il DOT Pitch 0.29 è TROPPO TROPPO grosso per chi fa del pixel una questione di vita o di morte.
Questioni cmq secondarie rispetto al Refresh... che incide in modo ENORME sulla resa.

Vediamo se riesco a farti capire perchè giocare a 30 e 120 FPS fa la differenza in un FirstPersonShooter...
1. Non è un film... l'occhio umano bla bla non centra niente... dimentica queste nozioni (giuste ma in un altro ambito)
2. Immagina questa situazione... stai giocando a... mmm Quake 4, UT2k3, Prey, HL2, quello che vuoi...
Azione: Rotazione col mouse secca di 360° svolta in 0.2", con un colpo netto di mouse.
Situazione1: Il tuo PC fa girare il gioco a 30 FPS. Nella rotazione avrai salti enormi fra un frame e l'altro. 0.2"/30fps= 360° con 6 FRAME!
Situazione2: Il tuo PC fa girare il gioco a 120 FPS. Avrai una rotazione fluida 4 volte + della precedente, vedrai il QUADRUPLO dei frame durante l'azione.
In un gioco di quel genere significa vita/morte/miracoli...
i pro san giocare, per il resto fan quello che va di moda/gli dicon gli sponsor.
dot pitch se tu mi trovi la differenza tra 0,255 del mio lcd e 0,24 di un crt complimenti probabilmente puoi anche contarmi le cellule che ho in fronte.
Se voi state cercando la configurazione migliore per giocare a giochi di 7 anni fa allora stiamo parlando di cose diverse cmq, se stiamo parlando di comprare un prodotto per giocare a giochi se non attuali quantomeno non giurassici allora non c'è motivazione per preferire un crte io che ho detto? gli fps non contano in quanto VISIBILITA' dato che a un occhio umano non cambia un cazzo, cambia in PRESTAZIONI.
NON HO SCRITTO che giocare a 30 fps o 300 è uguale, ma che la resa grafica all'occhio umano è identica - che le prestazioni aumentino è una questione tecnica ed è vero, l'esempio che ti ho detto di fare era in single player (HL2 in multi chi cazzo lo gioca) e le differenze di VISTA non si notano, che aumenti la precisione è un altro discorso.

Ha ragione Silly, in ambito videoludico ha senso eccome superare i 30fps, le differenze in fluidità sono piuttosto notevoli e facilmente percepibili.
il limite dei 30 fps è per le visioni cinematografiche, ma quello è un altro ambito.
Il problema + grosso di un LCD sono lo scaling (ovvero l'adattamento dei vari flussi alla risoluzione nativa dello schermo, dove un CRT non ha una matrice nativa) e la resa cromatica (colori piuttosto accesi, neri non del tutto neri che tendono ad affogare e che non hanno ancora la natauralezza e morbidezza cromatica di un ottimo CRT).
Gli LCD hanno fatto passi da gigante sia chiaro, si sono avvicinati molto ad un CRT, per materiale digitale in alte risoluzioni sono ottimi, ma le differenza con un ottimo CRT sono ancora marcate.
