ANCIENT WARDSTONES
* Keep in mind this is a first iteration of a new type of content, so be aware that it will evolve and improve over time. We welcome your feedback and suggestions as we try to turn the awesome up to eleven.
* Intended to act as a form of player-driven content that bridges the gap between Rifts/Invasions and Quests; to that end, we present ‘Ancient Wardstones!’ *fanfare*
* On entering Scarlet Gorge, a new quest is being offered. Defiants should seek out Mariko Bella at Old Mule Run, and Guardians find Paula Becksten at Overwatch. This quest provides the ability ‘Activate Ancient Wardstone’ and shows you what these new objects look like. The next step is to go exploring and find them!
* Once you discover an Ancient Wardstone, use your new ability to start an event. This might be one of several things. They’re a bit of a surprise and award experience and Rift currency.
* Completing these events allow the Ancient Wardstone locations to upgrade. Standard quests are daily repeatable, while area quests reset every 10 minutes while the Wardstone is active. Rewards for the first quest completion are naturally higher than subsequent turn-ins.
* Beware! Not only do these Ancient Wardstone locations become Invasion targets, they can also be destroyed by members of the other faction. Guard them with care. For the more adventurous – you can activate Ancient Wardstones in areas of zones controlled by opposing factions. Any Ancient Wardstone location can be activated for either Guardians or Defiants.
* Yes, some of the content in opposing areas is PvP oriented, but not all.
* But wait, there’s more:
* Deep in Scarlet Gorge, a horrible beast of the Planes has slept for millennia. Behold – Urthura, ‘The Dweller Below.’ If a single Guardian or Defiant faction controls all Ancient Wardstones in Scarlet Gorge, the sweet smell of power awakens Urthura from her slumber, causing her to rampage across the Gorge, intent on destroying everything in her path. Where she spawns depends on which faction activated the wardstones that summoned her. Once spawned, she can be claimed by either faction, so get that raid together quick!
* Fortunately for the residents of Scarlet Gorge, Urthura tires easily, and can only awaken once per 20 hour period.

più che altro già così da un senso al world pvp e da un minimo di "appartenenza" alla fazione quindi spero in belli scontri
Ma secondo voi questi devs ascoltano la community come tutti dicono?
A ogni beta reimpastano un sacco di cose... Certo che e' vero l'open pvp e' piu interessante ora :point:
boh sinceramente non avevo seguito molto il gioco, però vedendo l'andazzo dell'open pvp lo prenderò di sicuro, la remota speranza di riavere le sensazioni di daoc girando x il mondo potendo fare inc mi ispira molto :)
Ancora non si parla di modifiche alle razziali...

Sembrano sempre piu' veritiere ste racials...
le racials sono veritiere e sopratutto mi sembrano oneste a dire il vero...
Beh alla fine han messo dei + alle stats (mi ricorda daoc) e han levato le razziali attive (le han messe non combat) o meglio ci sono ma sono "fuffe" :)
Magari ci saranno meno whiners
non mi sembra male avere raziali alle stat e non attive, è sicuramente molto piu bilanciato in questo modo, ricorda molto daoc
e le razziali attive sinceramente non sbilanciano nulla alla fine.... e cmq sono praticamente simili tra le 2 fazioni...
potevano anche azzerarle lol a sto punto, il +10 è come non ci fosse al 50, il nano può rotolarsi dai monti gg asd

bhe... bilanciare tutte quelle classi è già follia... se poi ci si mettevano pure le razze...
anzi secondo me le classi non sono bilanciate, faranno partire il gioco e vedranno chi whina di +... a quel punto inizieranno i nerf lol

Le Alpha si sono trasformate in BETA NOTES e alcune razziali sono cambiate leggermente.... Meno Kelari!

" Cadence, Power Chord, Riff, Coda of Wrath, and Code of Fury now require “Any” weapon to execute; doesn’t matter what kind. " Qualcuno me la spiega questa ? significa che servirà un'arma per "castarlo" ? oppure che bisogna stare nel range dell'arma? (del tipo, se ho un pugnale devo stare melee)
NECROMANCER
* Damage over time effects now have a chance to critically hit.
* Revivify: Can now be used both in and out of combat.
* Vengeful Spirit: Now increases damage of Ruination by 3-9% for each stack of Deathly Calling on an enemy, rather than affecting critical hit chance of Ruination.
* Necrosis: Fixed an issue causing Necrosis effects spread by Ruination to deal much lower damage than intended.
WARLOCK
* Damage over time effects now have a chance to critically hit.
* Neddra’s Might: No longer requires a reagent to cast.

Crit dei dot = dps che s'impenna e così pure le cure.
penso che per far ela finesher prima servisse avere l'arco
il bilanciamento pvp è relativamente meno complicato di quanto sembri
prima di tutto ci sono punti che vengono tolti alle 2 soul normali, per essere messi nella soul pvp (21 punti se si vuole la skill attiva finale)
il che significa 45 punti da spendere nelle altre 2, con 45 punti riesci a stento ad arrivare a 31 (32 per l'abilità se la si vuole) in una soul e 13-14 in 1 altra, quindi significa che "semplicemente" devono limitarsi a rendere bilanciate fra loro le 32 soul prese singolarmente e bona li (niente cose del tipo paragon del warrior fa cagare mentre champion è ipersgravata in senso assoluto, per capirci, ma ognuna con i suoi punti di forza vs melee/caster/ranged o che facciano uber burst/dps/sarcazzo)
Non è detto che si voglia sempre la soul pvp maxata o addirittura usata , per esempio il cler dps melee non giova praticamente di nulla a lv offensivo dalla soul Templar é_é
Infatti imho uno dei possibili problemi di Rift a lungo termine per quanto riguarda il mantenere viva l'attenzione sul lato pvp del gioco è proprio il fatto che si debbano usare gli stessi punti delle soul "normali" anche per le soul pvp.. alla fine uno non è incentivato più di tanto a fare rank se invece di guadagnare qualcosa e basta, è costretto a fare delle scelte su cosa perdere .. ovvero ci si può ritrovare nella spiacevole situazione in cui o si ignorano le abilità che si sono sbloccate nel soul pvp con i vari rank oppure si usano i punti nel soul PvP ma a costo di perdere altre abilità di altre soul.. che incentivo ha il player a mantenere vivo l'interesse nel PvP se quello che si sblocca dopo necessita l'abbandono di altre abilità/bonus?
Guardala dal lato opposto. Le soul pvp possono sempre essere modificate dalle patches.Quote:
