Ogni zona tiene al massimo X personaggi contemporaneamente. Se ce ne sono altri che devono entrare in quella zona, il gioco crea una copia istanziata della zona in cui sei, in cui butta tutta la gente in più. Dopodichè ti mette in coda per la zona "effettiva", e quando c'è posto ed è il tuo turno, ti chiede se vuoi gatare di la.
A quel che ho visto la differenza principale delle zone overflow è che sono cross server, quindi c'è gente col tag di altri server in giro.
ATTENZIONE: non so cosa comporti a livello di world vs world tutto questo. In pve cambia una fava, ma bisogna vedere se la mappa WvW ha un sistema di overflow o delle code.

EDIT: dopo aver studiato un po' l'overflow come meccanica, ci sono un paio di cose di cui tenere conto
A) Se della gente è nella zona normale e della gente nell'overflow, non si gioca insieme. C'è la possibilità per chi è nella zona normale di joinare nell'overflow i propri compagni di party, ma pare che ci siano dei problemi/bug per cui non sempre tutto fila liscio. Pare ci sia anche un modo per fixare il problema. Quoto da reddit:

EDIT: By "relogging", I mean just character selection, any kind of zoning seems to take care of the issue, so going to the mist, changing maps, etc, are solutions too.
Make sure the other people do that too, just in case they are the ones in a "bugged overflow" or with the "position bug", since if thats the case it doesnt matter how much you relog since they have to do it.
da quello che avevo capito per WvW non c'è overflow ma coda ma magari stò solo dicendo na stronzata :D
No, dici bene, i 4 mondi del WvW (i 3 battlegrounds dei server e l'eternal) funzionano a code.Quote:
