Disabilitare scheda grafica integrata

per natale ho regalato un portatile a mia moglie, cosi' la smette di rompermi i coglioni che vuole guardare feisbuc.
Tralasciando che sto pc e' meglio del mio per giocare (... ), installati ci sono una geforce e una scheda grafica integrata. E qui c'e' il problema, perche' i giochi di default attivano la scheda grafica integrata con risultati che definirei meh. Ho provato a disabilitarla direttamente dalla gestione dei dispositivi del pannello di controllo ma non funge, semplicemente il programma si pianta. Come posso fare?

io ho risolto.
Nelle impostanzioni 3d della geforce c'e' la possibilita' di settera la scheda grafica predefinita, basta mettere la dedicata e sei a posto

Anche col click destro sull'exe ti chiede di volta in volta quale scheda video usare...se preferisci

Non so se col tempo è cambiato qualcosa, ma disabilitarla da bios comporta che a video non ti compare nulla. Il pc voleva obbligatoriamente quella integrata attiva. Parliamo comunque di prove fatte qualche anno fa.

La mia scheda madre ha una scheda video integrata disabilitata da bios e funziona perfettamente.

Se hai una scheda video integrata ed un'altra installata vuole dire che hai DUE uscite video, basta attaccare il monitor a quella giusta e tutto funziona.

No, non si puo' disabilitare da bios, il portatile ha bisogno dell'integrata attiva per poter funzionare.
Ho settato per i giochi la dedicata di default e guardando su internet e' l'unica soluzione possibile.

Io avevo un notebook con 2 schede come te, ma quella integrata entrava in automatico solo quando il pc nn era alimentato e potevi comunque decidere di utilizzare quella dedicata anche con la batteria, non hai delle impostazioni simili?

che sarebbe la scelta piu' intelligente, invece non e' cosi'.

magari non c'entra molto, ma nelle cpu per desktop, c'è sempre un processore grafico integrato. Metti che ti assembli un pc con un Intel Ix e ci piazzi una bella scheda video.. diciamo una GTX 970... non c'è il rischio che dopo aver speso trilioni quel pirla sfrutti la GPU merda presente sul procio e non il bolide Nvidia?
