Ebay - Scam
Premessa:
Stavo cercando un iPhone per la ragazza un 4Gb che va sembre bene.
Sorpresa email inviata dopo qualche minuto della vincita:
Hanno cercato ma sono idioti... poiche' le mail tra EBAY/PAYPAL mi arrivano in Italiano. E non ho creduto dal primo istante a sto tizio... una ricerca con nome e cognome su google ed ecco che viene fuori che e' un tizio (o un gruppo) che cerca di incularti per benino su ebay. (a dire il vero e' esterno a ebay)
questa la mail:

I am the seller of the Item# 13023102304,4GB In Box iPhone Package UNLOCKED LOADED. I have to congratulate for your winning bid of $215.00. Also I hope you will get this message on time. Regretfully, immediately after the listing closed I got an email from Paypal, I must advise you that my account has been compromised and i am unable to receive any payments at this time. In this moment my account is under investigations and now i am contacting your from other email address as eBay recommended and approved this. Do not respond to any email addressed for this item in my behalf. Anyway you will be able to get your item if you will use a second payment method approved by eBay only for th! is transaction. Payment details:
I got the new instructions from eBay. The payment must be made to an eBay Agent name and address located in Spain (Zaragoza). The agent must be outlandish for security reasons and to protect both. I`ve been notified that the method of payment is approved by eBay and by their official website www.ebay.es. Quello che mi ha fatto notare la cosa e' che il vero reseller e' in Canada (Missisagua Ontario) Costui invece e' un bel "rumeno" (e qui dico tutto) situato in Spagna.
tra l'altro manca un numero nell'item number.
Prontamente notificato il "seller", "ebay", "paypal" sulla tentata frode.
Fortunatamente PayPal ha risposto molto celermente che controlleranno l'addebito e la transazione. Se non dovesse andare a buon fine mi rimborseranno senza alcun problema. I aggiunta mi hanno comunicato che essendo passato SOLO internamente a ebay. Con tra l'altro un powerseller 99.8%, non dovrebbero esserci problemi.
Quindi fondamentalmente fate attenzione, e verificate SEMPRE le email. quando ho visto cs-ebay.com mi sono detto perche' non provare a connettermi su quel domain? ovviamente un sito fasullo usato solo per email.
