WD & Formattazione a basso livello
Ho bisogno di formattare a basso livello i miei 2 WD. Recentemente ho fatto un paio di installazioni di SO ed il modo in cui vengono formattate le partizioni non mi piace. Mi son capitate un paio di schermate blu che con lo stesso SO alla prima installazione non si presentavano. Il software WD non supporta Windows7. Non mi vede i dischi. Cosa posso usare? Sono 2 Wd 320gb RE3.
hd tune pro, fa diagnostica e tra le utility ha anche la 0 format

ma sicuro che bootando da floppy/usb il programma WD nn funzioni ?

si, provato sia la versione windows, sia quella floppy sia quella cd. Nessuna mi vede i dischi. Intel matrix storage vede sia i dischi sia i raid. Se guardi nelle specifiche nessuno dei programmi wd supporta w7. Hd tune pro fa la formattazione? ma c'è una versione bootabile?
Provato a vedere se le statistiche smart evidenziano danni ?

ah boh, anche cd e floppy hanno segnate le compatibilità. sotto w7 non mi faceva nemmeno creare il floppy.

prendi la versione per dos non quella per windows

fatte tutte, sia cd sia floppy per dos. non va. dice che sta partendo, poi rimane schermo nero e poi, dopo un bel po, mi dice che non ha rilevato dischi.
