sicuramente ti serve un boot manager, **credo** che win2000/xp abbia qualcosa del genere che devi installare dal disco "originale" a manina; c'è qualcosa di "terze parti" anche nel pacchetto di partition magic... ma non li ho mai usati
più di specifico non so essere, mai usato un bootmanager se non per switchare fra linux e windows... e ovviamente è l'installazione di linux ad occuparsi di ste cose

risolto, porto i file che mi servono nella partizione nuova che almeno nn è introiata come la vecchia, poi reinstallo win e gg-.-

basta editare il file boot.ini per gestire l'avvio dell'os
