Se scoppiasse una rivoluzione di carattere liberale, ci sarebbe solo da rallegrasi, ma purtroppo questi governi sono ben autodifesi, e al massimo mi viene in mente la possibilità di una Tien-an-men iraniana, non di una rivoluzione...

Il governo iraniano è convinto di averla già fatta una rivoluzione... ai tempi di Khomeini...

hey /b/, i'm the iranian from last night/early this morning

the iranian government has ordered its ISPs to block access to instant messenger protocols. they already blocked international calls and cell phones belonging to students, and have heavily filtered the internet and television and radio. they are driving around the city jamming satellite feeds. the media is no longer permitted to report.

messenger was my last way of communicating with my gf who is in iran right now. she's already been accosted by some non-uniformed guys, hopefully nothing else has happened since i last talked to her. she's lucky not to be injured physically but she was really frightened.

a lot of people have been killed in the protests, more than the number reported. but countless have been beaten, injured, shot, arrested, etc. including high profile people.

students' dorms have been ransacked, computers and belongings destroyed, and it's finals week

the more the government pressures the opposition and the more they try to make it impossible for them to communicate with each other, the more determined they become to take their stand. they have balls of steel, they are putting their lives on hold and going up unarmed against an armed, trigger-happy islamic militia whose members can't be prosecuted or sued for brutality.

the only reason people haven't been slaughtered on tianenmen-square level scales is because there are so many people the militia and police don't dare shoot except from inside their guarded compounds. it's like the last seen in V

Quoto, non ci sono i numeri ne il supporto per una rivoluzione. Poi non si sa mai come vanno a finire ste cose ma mi trovo d'accordo con Jarsil.

I am writing this email to let you know all that what is taking place in Iran and especially Tehran is a barbaric crack down of the people who want nothing but their very basic rights. So many people have been killed and injured and you can easily find out the picturtes on the cyber social networks worldwide. All commmunication systems are blocked in Iran and Iranain people can hardly be heard overseas.

Yesterday, June 20th, was one of the most terrible days in the history of democracy in Iran. The central Tehran looked like a red carpet of blood. I personally witnessed so many people were shot dead or beaten by the savages who call themselves as "the owners of Iran". These hardliners are a very limited minority of Iran who hold the power and have no fear to slaughter the Iranian students, women and children. They have stolen the Iranian votes and announced Ahmadinejad as the president. As an Iranian, and as your friend, I am trying to tell you all that the supreme leader of Iran (Ayatollah Khamenei) and his servant (Ahmadinejad) do not represent the reality of the Iranians who look for peace, friendship and bright future for everyone.

Yesterday, I was beaten on my head and back and my brother mother were beaten too. We spent the night in a hospital which was full of injured people. Among the people who were killed in the last few days, there were many students and some of them were from the University of Tehran. The regime have overtly denied that they have been killed and do not deliver their bodies to their families. The ironic point is that people try to demonstrate silently (no slogan, no violence), but they receive very brutal response from the riot police and the milita. The state-run television calls millions of people as "terrorists" and "hooligans"!!!!

What I explained about is a domestic unrest and the consequences of an Islamic Fascist regime in power. But, the global consequences of such regime in power will definitely affect the lives of people worldwide either directly or indirectly. The regime who does not fear to slaughter its own people, have no mercy on other nations. As an Iranian student who has so many restrictions to get his voice out of Iran, I do kindly ask you all to inform your families, friends and colleagues in every possible way about the awful situation in Iran. This Islamic Fascist regime is not to be officially recognized by the world.

La situazione è realmente di merda e le notizie che arrivano sono minimizzate, una mia amica Iraniana, si è presa nell'ordine manganellate normali, manganellate con manganello elettrificato, lacrimogeni, gli han sparato a gente vicino è scappata a un incolonnamento di polizia verso i furgoni blindati, senza contare che molto facilmente è segnalata, e magari quando tutto questo sarà finito si vedrà piombare i Pasdaran in casa alle 2 di notte per prelevarla, se poi finisce al gabbio invece che picchiata e minacciata magari con torturucce normali è facilissimo che non ci esca più, non per ergastolo ma perchè in carcere i dissidenti politici li fanno fuori, sono molto molto preoccupato, ci manda notizie spesso anche se probabilmente non potrà farlo per molto, nell'ultima ci ha fatto intendere che l'esercito ha in mente di usare mezzi blindati e carriarmati sulla folla...

Gli avvenimenti di questi giorni in Iran, mettono questo stato sotto una visuale internazionale estremamente differente rispetto a pochi giorni prima. Fino a prima delle elezioni si considerava l'Iran una democrazia, sebbene con i suoi difetti, ma con il governo scelto dai suoi elettori e quindi rappresentante del popolo.

Oggi è completamente diverso. Oggi abbiamo la certezza che l'Iran è sotto una dittatura religiosa-militare e che la popolazione iraniana disconosce il suo governo. Ciò che oggi il governo di Ahmadinejad dichiara, non è la volontà del popolo iraniano. Questo mette la popolazione iraniana non più complice dei piani bellici di Ahmadinejad, ma come un popolo sottomesso che ha bocciato in toto la sua politica e che per difendere i più semplici diritti democratici rischia la vita in piazza.

Oggi l'opinione internazionale ha sicuramente una visuale più chiara su quello che oggi è l'Iran. Non ha mai potuto intervenire negli affari di uno stato democratico, mentre ora deve sicuramente ascoltare l'urlo disperato di milioni di iraniani che chiedono aiuto.
