    Default Rilasciato Ubuntu 10.04

    cdt, è stato rilasciato poco fa Ubuntu 10.04.
    A prima vista non ci sono grossissime novità nell'os, a parte una gui ridisegnata (e nautilus che sposta i tasti di comando della finestra sulla Sx o_0 ), la scomparsa di gimp e l'integrazione social.
    Sto scaricando ora la 10.04 x 64 dal server tedesco, visto che quello Ita andava a 80K/s, poi passerò all'installazione di apache e altre 2 vaccatine tanto per vedere come reagisce il sistema.
    Vediamo che han combinato questa volta
    P.s.: provo la desktop, non la server

    io l'ho scaricato in mezzo minuto da quello svedese (ma effettivamente sono in svezia)
    da quello che leggo in giro cmq non so se ho tanta voglia di installarlo subito, pare che di casini da risolvere ce ne siano un bel po'
    (perchè poi abbiano tolto GIMP vorrei che qualcuno me lo spiegasse)

    io aspetto fedora 13 per riprovarci, con 7 mi trovo benissimo, ma linux mi fa sentire più nerd

    Ma guarda, io la parte webserver\ftp\vpn la gestisco su una virtuali linux e devo dire che le prestazioni sono ottime anche se mysql continua a farmi spruzzo.
    Per la parte desktop, come sai, sto anche io su 7 (vista nel notebook) visto che il programma che vendiamo è windows only e, sinceramente sto bene così
    Per me Linux sta bene nei server, nei pc di casa degli utonti dandogli utenti limitati (così la mamma non ti fa formattare il pc ogni 2 mesi perchè prende e installa la peggio merda), nelle PA e dove non si necessita di software windows only. Per il resto ben vengano i PC con windows.

    Ok non mi funge unity, iniziamo a smadonnare -.-

    Uhm, il gestore degli utenti richiede lo sblocco quando vai su new user invece di dover premere sblocca prima
    (ho saltato la 9.10 quindi magari mi son perso dei pezzi)

    Sì il boot è veramente rapido, ma anche ubu 9.04 alla fine si difendeva bene.
    Cmq per ora ho messo la vm in freeze, ci riguardo guando ho tempo (non mi trovava apache in init.d dopo il setup... mah)

    Qualcuno per caso ci ha fatto girare LAMP/Tomcat/Eclipse/Axis2?
    Qualcuno lo ha provato su laptops DELL?
