Multiplayer Unit Profile - Chaos Noise Marine
Noise Marines are Chaos Space Marines that have dedicated themselves to the Chaos God Slaanesh, and use sonic weaponry. Their blasters emit waves of sound that can disorient, disrupt, and destroy enemies on the field. They are one of the new units that players can field in Dawn of War II: Retribution, here are specifics on the Noise Marines.
Unit: Noise Marines
Availability: Tier 1
Abilities:
Cacophony – The Noise Marines become stationary and produce huge sonic blasts in their vicinity, knocking back enemy and friendly troops.
Upgrades:
Blastmasters – A powerful sonic weapon with excellent range. The Blastmaster is effective versus all armor types and will knock over units in its firing line. Noise Marines upgraded to the Blastmaster lose the Cacophony ability. Squad is immobile while upgrading. Requires Tier 2.
A new addition for the early game for Chaos, Noise Marines can appear on the field relatively quickly and are a support unit that can disrupt the enemy in a number of ways. They prevent ranged attacks by units that are under the effects of their sonic weapons, which can take a key enemy squad out of the battle. While Noise Marines are vulnerable to melee attacks, their Cacophony special ability can further disrupt enemy units that are close by, allowing the Noise Marines to escape or time for help to arrive.
Once you’ve reached Tier 2, researching the Blastmasters upgrade adds this heavy weapon to the squad. Your Noise Marines will now need time to set up, like a Havoc squad, but you’ve now added some devastating long range firepower to your arsenal. Units along the line of fire from a Blastmaster are knocked down, while units that get hit by it will suffer full damage from this powerful weapon.

raga chi mi aggiorna un attimo? avevo giocato appena uscito a sto gioco ma per poco tempo perchè era periodo di crisi... me lo procurai così così e senza on-line perdeva. ora son tentato di comperarmi a 30 euri su stream dow2+chaos, ma poi leggo di sto benedetto retribution che a sto punto se ho capito bene è uno stand alone più che un espansione, e su quello ci staranno tutte le razze e campagne per ognuna, quindi a sto punto mi conviene aspettare e prendere solo quello? sto capendo male?

Si, hai capito bene. Comprati solo Retribution, che ti da accesso a tutte le 6 razze in multiplayer, Last Stand e ovviamente le nuove campagne singleplayer
il gioco originale e chaos rising ormai ti darebbero in + solo le loro campagne singleplayer. A sto punto risparmia i soldi e scaricali. giocale giusto per conoscere la storia e divertirti un po. tanto poi ti butterai su Retri e sul multi e quelle le dimentichi
Sicuro che basti solo Retribution per avere le altre razze? Pensavo fosse come Chaos Rising, se non lo hai - niente Chaos
Moar info plz! che io ho solo il base visto che tanto giocavo SM e stavo ponderando di prendere CR prima di Ret
con Retribution DoW2 cambia piattaforma multiplayer, passando to GFWL a Steamworks. E' proprio un fattore tecnico che li obbliga a fare cosi
questa espansione la puoi considerare un DoW2.5

January 31 – Beta access granted to select members of press, key community managers, and the THQ team.
February 1 – Access given to all DOW II Community site members that registered on our site before January 25 and to users who have pre-ordered the game on Steam.
February 8 – Access given to all Steam users who have bought a Dawn of War game through Steam.

Ieri dopo 19gg m'è arrivato BloodBowl Legends....mo lo istallio...e mi sa che mi prendo il pre-order di Retribution collectors..ma devo capire meglio che ci sta dentro.
Cmq...sempre in stile dow2 vero? Odio quel sistema di gioco...preferivo il vecchio dow

A quanto pare amazon.de vende la collectors allo stesso prezzo del gioco liscio su steam (quindi 30 euro) però dicono sia solo tedesca e la cosa mi pare abbastanza strana visto che una volta registrato su steam ognuno si mette la lingua che vuole.
Quindi per ora io sto aspettando a fare il preorder per capire dove comprare il gioco.
