per dire che ormai siamo abituati al fatto che una tragedia è un pretesto per qualsiasi atrocità, gli americani (e noi) la pensiamo così. Mi tocchi -> ti distruggo. E più mi fai male più male ti farò io.
La si spera che invece siano un po' più intelligenti, è fondamentale impedire che tragedie si ripetano, ma i morti non si possono resuscitare.

Sicuramente una tragedia non dev'essere un pretesto per "atrocità", ma non si deve neanche declassarla a un "ops, succede, ma a noi piace così come stiamo". Il "possible, even easy" non è una buona cosa, non è una cosa di cui "vantarsi" perchè altrimenti a che serve lo stato se non dà protezione e sicurezza ai suoi cittadini? E, siceramente, 21 anni "maximum extent"? Cioè nè protezione nè giustizia?
