"Hudson Soft ha annunciato via Twitter che è in arrivo un nuovo episodio (il quinto) della serie Bloody Roar, famosa nella prima era PlayStation, apparsa di sfuggita su PlayStation 2, Xbox e GameCube per poi sparire nel nulla.

Il quinto episodio dovrebbe uscire solo su PS3 e Xbox 360 nell'arco del prossimo anno con il ritorno del cast originale, una completa revisione al sistema di combattimento e la distribuzione nei "classici" negozi (niente uscita online). Tra le caratteristiche, si parla già di un editor per modificare i personaggi oltre al multiplayer online, ma sono solo rumor per ora"

Hudson Soft has revealed a few more additional details on Twitter regarding their recently announced title, Bloody Roar 5. The fighting game will be a disc release on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is not coming to the Nintendo Wii U due to “too many issues.” As for the gameplay, Hudson Soft confirmed that the Blood Roar 5 is a reboot/revamped of the series and will be more akin to Bloody Roar 3 as opposed to Blood Roar 4. The publishers confirmed that there will be new costumes but is unwilling to comment on character customizations.

In addition to new characters, Bloody Roar 5 will also feature several fighters from the series that will be returning to the sequel. You can check out the list of all the confirmed characters returning (and not returning) below:
