In news that is sure to encourage grimacing and facepalming, Sony has confirmed purchases made on the PlayStation Network will not carry over from PS3 to PS4. Same goes for your game saves, too. For Christ's sake, Sony ... you just couldn't resist gunning for some bad PR.

Shuhei Yoshida told a roundtable (including our own Dale North) the PS4's innards are too different from the PS3, and the company is trying to avoid draining the system's power with emulation. Although plans are being looked into to get PS3 games playable in some form on the system, it appears anything you do right now on the PS3 will remain bound there.

Expect PS3 games to be available for streaming on the system at some point in time. Whether we'll be paying for the privilege or not remains to be seen

Secondo me e' un'idiozia lo stesso...primo perche' non rewardi il brand fidelity dei consumatori, secondo perche' ti giochi una parte di install base.

Quando avevo il negozio, durante l'uscita della ps2, moltissima gente la comprava per il dvd, molte perche' "quelli del day one no matter what" esistono da sempre MA un botto le ho vendute con il "makes sense" del cosumer medio che veniva a comprare "una pleistescio" e semplicemente gli dicevo "guarda, se non è questione di rpezzo...ti conviene prendere la 2, che fa girare ANCHE i giochi ps1" simple as that, e ti giuro era un argomento che ha convinto piu' o meno tutti quelli che entravano nel mondo console per la prima volta.

Secondo me l'idea migliore era magari fare due modelli, prezzati accordingly e lasciar decidere il consumatore...puoi anche farne "poche" retrocompatibili e poi gestirti a seconda della domanda.

Oppure un add'on...na roba che attacchi a qualche porta e gg, se lo vuoi lo pigli altrimenti no.

La lista l'ho presa da un terzo, non da sony....quindi la completezza e' quel che e'.
CDPR ha tra l'altro confermato ieri ufficialmente TW3 su ps4 (ma si sapeva gia')

Granzella...mo' mi sbaglio sicuro e mi sono appena svegliato...ma credo facesse robe per home....tipo vestiti....boh magari mi confondo.

Oltre a non essere retrocompatibile a livello software, non lo sara' nemmeno a livello HW (i pad).

L'unica periferica che non hanno (s)confermato sono gli stick del Move.

Yosp ha confermato in un'intervista che supporterà il 4k.
