    Oggi probabilmente vado a comprare uno di questi 2 laptop:



    ASUS ROG G751JY

    Prezzo e' uguale e a prestazioni siamo veramente vicini. Leggendo in giro ho visto che Asus scalda meno sotto carico rispetto all'MSI e lo schermo IPS e' meglio rispetto al TN di MSI oltre ad avere piu' SSD+HDD. Di contro MSI ha leggermente piu' batteria (circa 3h per asus e 3 e mezzo per MSI) e pesa 1 kilo meno. Inoltre MSI ha modulo MXM per la scheda grafica dando possibilita' di cambiarla in futuro (anche se solo quella costa un macello)

    Tenderei a prendere Asus. Avete idee che possono farmi cambiare idea?

    Ho avuto modo di vedere in azione il Rog, materiali ambigui ma ti confermo che scalda pochissimo, dopo 1 ora di render era appena tiepido, ed in quanto a prestazioni è veramente incredibile.
    Lo schermo invece non mi ha convito 100%, super saturo di default, ed angoli di visione un pò scarsi per essere ips.

    e' il modello con CPU migliore e SSD in raid...

    la sk. grafica dopo 4GB al momento non ha senso sopratutto per il FullHD (fosse UHD sarebbe diverso).

    ho visto dal vivo gli asus diverse volte e mi han fatto un'ottima impressione.
    su di un laptop di questo tipo non credo che la batteria dovrebbe essere un parametro di valutazione cmq

    Mia esperienza: avevo preso un asus rog 4 anni fa, pagato sui 1200 euro ed era un ottimo notebook da gaming (unica pecca l'avevo preso 15" ma vabbe) era un g53 o g52 qualcosa. Silenzioso, scaldava pochissimo, andava molto bene ma 8 mesi e mi è morto. Dove l'avevo preso non avevano da sostituirmelo con lo stesso modello e mi hanno dato un buono per il valore del note. In sostituzione ho preso un msi gt780, ce l'ho da 2 anni e mezzo ormai e non ha mai dato il minimo problema, è poco "portatile" eh e scalda un botto ma è silenziosissimo e non mi ha mai dato nessun problema, l'anno scorso poi gli ho aggiunto un ssd al disco da 7200 che aveva di default e va che è un amore..

    Ah aggiungo, ora non so se con i nuovi modelli la cosa è cambiata, ma se per caso hai intenzione di usare l'msi anche senza cuffie/casse esterne e quindi usare le integrate è su tutto un altro livello rispetto a qualsiasi portatile abbia avuto tra le mani finora.

    Alla fine ho optato invece per msi 15" ghost pro... Ha una gtx970m invece della 980m e ssd da 128 ma pesa anche 1.8kg....

    Alla fine il peso ha vinto rispetto alle prestazioni dell'asus o del dominator pro

    P.s. e con la differenza di prezzo ho preso iphone 6 128gb per mia moglie ������

    No perchè ti sei appena comprato un notebook della madonna spendendo meno di quel che ti eri prefissato, ed io sto partendo per una trasferta con un portatile Sony che pesa come un lampadario dove ormai ci gira solo Lubuntu.

    eh pure io l'ho preso in previsione trasferta di 1 mese a San Francisco il portatile del lavoro non e' adatto ai giochi e questo invece mi permette di trastullarmi quelle sere che non ho voglia di andare a far baldoria nella downtown

    omen l'ho provato dato che lo facciamo in casa e sinceramente parlando anche con chi lo ha sviluppato e' comunque leggermente sotto sia a MSI che a Asus al momento....

    e sopratutto il monitor per me fa' tanto.... l'omen usa un glossy che a me sinceramente fa' cagare un po'.... e sopratutto omen per ora non ha ancora gtx970m o gtx980m

    il razer blade ci avevo pensato ma e' un casino da trovare qui e farmelo spedire sinceramente non mi andava....

    ps non sono mai stato a san francisco quindi non so' ancora un cazzo dove andare pero' penso che locali se ne trovino ovunque, anche se io saro' a palo alto che e' 40 min da san francisco...

    sto' finendo di installare qualche gioco (gta v, watch dogs, dying light e bioshock infinite per fare qualche prova) e ti fo' sapere i risultati in settimana.... comunque mi pare di capire che siamo sui livelli della gtx970 per desktop con la 980m e sui livelli della 770 per il 970m

    edit: piccola cosa da aggiungere.... l'audio con la sound blaster cinema 2 e' una cosa pazzesca..... cioe' virtualizza le casse intorno a te se stai davanti allo schermo e fa' un surround come se avessi 6 casse intorno a me....
