Konami ha divulgato qualche informazione relativa alla versione DS di Pro Evolution Soccer 2006. Malgrado - ovviamente - una grafica meno dettagliata, il gioco proporrà delle caratteristiche esclusive per la console Nintendo. Infatti, nello schermo superiore sarà mostrata l'azione di gioco, mentre in quello tattile gli utenti potranno consultare tutte le informazioni disponibili sul match in corso. Infine, il titolo sfrutterà l'online tramite Wi-fi.
