Squirrel Girl

Comes out in two weeks.
Up to 250 squirrels out on screen at one time.
Brawling tree.
Squirrel summoning powers.
Ultimate is called "Squirrelpocalypse" (something like 500 squirrels on screen).
Arm squirrels with timed explosives that then go out and set booby trap for enemy waves.
Launches with five unique items, including: Hazelnut Lipgloss, Iron Man Trading Cards (summons Iron Man to help her out), Great Lakes Avengers T-shirt (proc powers based on spirits of Great Lake Avengers).
Squirrel Girl synergy grants +damage vs. bosses in accordance with her theme of taking out massively power Marvel characters in the comics.

Asgard Story Content

Asgard content video will be shown at New York Comic-Con.
Asgard will have tons of frost giants, dark elves, and even new enemies introduced by the upcoming Thor movie sequel.
New Asgard super hub.
Players will need to venture into Norway and overcome a currently unannounced encounter that will unlock passage through the Rainbow Bridge into Asgard.
Asgard content will be free.
Raids coming with Asgard content.

Upcoming Heroes and Costumes

Silver Surfer on top 5 list of heroes to be worked on next.
Legendary Quest sharing coming soon.
Upcoming new item types include: Legendaries, Team-Ups, and StarkTech .
Additional "gender bender" skins coming. Kate Bishop Hawkeye is being worked on as we speak.
Additional 'Fear Itself' costumes coming. Full suite of 'Noir' costumes in the works as well (Punisher Noir, Spiderman Noir, Luke Cage Noir, etc).
Thor 'Beta Ray Bill' enhanced costume launches with Asgard. Asgard Storm in the works.
Gambit added 'way before' end of year. Needs voiceover and more visual FX work.

NEW HEROES:
Squirl girl will be at the test center in 2 weeks.
gambit is coming after squirl girl.
Nightcrawler should be added this christmas
Silver Surfer and Galactus will make an appearance in Marvel Heroes during 2014

ITEMS:
Stark-Tech items -have their own dedicated item slot in the new UI.They are devices created by Stark Industries that can help any hero, in different ways. They are quite difficult to obtain, but can be crafted as well as found. These items can be upgraded by using crafting ingredients from the game world.
legendery items - will be from Odin's Vault (through Odin Marks).They also have their own item slot in the new UI coming with Asgard. Legendary items are strong, but get much stronger as they gain experience. Whenever a player gains experience (even at level 60), the item will level up and unlocks new powers. Each Legendary item can rank up 5 times and unlock new abilities.
Example: The Ultimate Nullifier has a chance to wipe an enemy from existence (you still get the loot), as you rank it up through gaining experience, it improves your mental strength (spirit), your damage, and the ultimate rank 5 you will have a chance to devastate a boss on hit.
4 artifact slots will be coming with the Asgard patch
cosmic Medallions from bosses will come to the game
slots for pets, Stark-Tech items and Legendary items are coming

END GAME:
Randomized terminals with terminal-wide affixes (that can be rerolled) on difficulty and loot
Example : All enemies are fire enchanted, but give 20% more special items.
Example : All enemies are invisible, but all drop an extra purple item.
redesigned Limbo terminals for 5 players that acts as a neverending dungeon
Wilson fisk aka "kingpin" will be added to the terminals

CRAFTING:
unique enchantments will come to all your item slots, some easy to get and some more challenging based on power.
crafting recipes will be added to crafter and vendor so level them up to max

MISC:
damage counters will come this fall
Howard the Duck mini pet will come
Odin Marks will also be used for a few other things once Asgard launches
trading is worked on
Uniques and Legendaries will not be tradeable, they are going to stay "self-found" items
Playable villians are not that far away
