Avrei bisogno di qualche suggerimento per tirare su il warlock nella fase di exp -solitaria- :)
Non ho una conoscenza approfondita, ma sarei interessato soprattutto a demonology o affliction, per sfruttare bene le peculiarità della classe: infatti il mio pg primario è un mage, quindi non volevo fare un warlock basato esclusivamente sui danni.
E soprattutto che talenti scelgo, almeno per i primi livelli? Grazie! ;)

Qualcosa (con la 1.6) di simile a:
Affliction Talents (20 points)

Reduces the chance for enemies to resist your Affliction spells by 6%.
Improved Life Tap - 2/2 points

Increases the amount of Health restored by your Healthstone by 20%.
Fel Intellect - 4/5 points
Increases the maximum Mana of your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, and Felhunter by 12%.
Fel Domination - 1/1 point
Your next Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, or Felhunter Summon spell has its casting time reduced by 5.5 seconds and its Mana cost reduced by 50%.
Fel Stamina - 5/5 points
Increases the maximum Health of your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, and Felhunter by 15%.
Master Summoner - 2/2 points
Reduces the casting time of your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, and Felhunter Summoning spells by 4 seconds.
Unholy Power - 5/5 points
Increases the damage done by your Voidwalker, Succubus, and Felhunter's melee attacks by 20%.
Demonic Sacrifice - 1/1 point
When activated, sacrifices your summoned demon to grant you an effect that lasts 30 minutes. The effect is cancelled if any Demon is summoned.
Imp: Increases your Fire damage by 15%.
Voidwalker: Regenerate 3% of your total health every 4 seconds.
Succubus: Increases your Shadow damage by 15%.
Felhunter: Regenerate 2% of your total mana every 4 seconds.
Master Demonologist - 5/5 points
Grants both the Warlock and their summoned pet an effet as long as that pet is active.
Imp - reduces threat caused by 20%.
Voidwaler - reduces physical damage taken by 10%.
Succubus - increases all damage caused by 10%.
Felhunter - increases all resistances by 1 per level.
Soul Link - 1/1 point
When active, 50% of all damage taken is split with your summoned demon. Lasts 30 seconds.
Forse prenderei subito Improve Corruption su affliction, poi svilupperei demonology e poi il resto di affliction... ma dipende molto da come giocherete, vedete voi.

Hai detto bene, dipende da come giocheremo.. pero' ho fatto solo pochi livelli e non ho ancora idea del modo migliore... detta in soldoni il warlock expa meglio alzando Demonology o Destruction? (oltre a Affliction che ormai considero indispensabile).
Per ora ho visto che faccio molto affidamento su Destruction, altrimenti l’imp schiatta o consuma troppo mana (non ho ancora provato il voidwalker).
Alla luce delle spiegazioni che sono state dato sul topic dei templates, ho stilato un elenco di talenti su un template Affliction/Destruction (sempre in ottica pve).
Affliction Talents (30 points)
• Improved Corruption - 5/5 points
Reduces the casting time of your Corruption spell by 2 seconds.
• Improved Life Tap - 2/2 points
Increases the amount of Mana awarded by your Life Tap spell by 20%.
• Improved Drain Life - 5/5 points

Può andare bene o è cmq meglio puntare a Demonology e resto Affliction?
Secondo me il template affliction 25- destruction 21- demonology 5 (il mio, gia' postato in questo forum) o afflcition 30- destruction 21 (stesso ramo destruction, invece di prendere la stamina su demonology si prende shadow mastery a 5 su affliction) sono i due template migliori sia per PvE che per PvP. Questo perche' massimizzano il mio stile di gioco che e' piu' offensivo che difensivo. I template alternativi sono:
31 demonology - 20 affliction che e' piu' difensivo e con la nuova patch penso sia molto molto valido anche in PvP, soprattutto in 1 vs 1 mentre magari negli scontri di gruppo sente molto la mancanza di Ruin
template full destruction - resto in affliction che non e' bruttissimo, ma che secondo me nerfa troppo le caratteristiche migliori del lock per un aumento del dps non abbastanza alto da compensare questa perdita
Quindi in generale il mio consiglio e' sempre quello di buttarsi su affliction-destruction (25-21-5 o 30-21), ma mi rendo conto che e' una scelta molto influenzata dal mio stile di gioco. Demonology con la nuova patch guadagna alcune features interessanti, che ovviamente non ho ancora provato sul campo quindi parlo per pura teoria. Per questo puo' essere una buona scelta. Vedrete expando che il warlock e' probabilmente il pg piu' complesso e vario del gioco, e proprio per questo stara' a voi capire come vi piace giocarlo.
Alcune note sul tp che hai postato:
Improved Drain Life - 5/5 points
lascialo perdere, non puoi buttare 5 punti per una dozzina di danni in piu' a tick. Piuttosto mettili in shadow mastery o in qualsiasi altra cosa :)
Improved Drain Soul - 2/2 points
Il warlock e' la classe caster che sfrutta di meno il regen di spirit. A parita' di spirito recchi comunque molto meno delle altre classi. Io non ti consiglio di buttare punti qua. Fai conto che life tap + first aid = mana infinito, non ti serve questa abilita' :)
In destruction non puoi non prendere Shadowburn... il dd instant ogni 15 secondi e' fondamentale, e si traina quindi cresce con i livelli :) Per arrivare a ruin metti 1 shadowburn, 2 destructive reach, 2 sul talento che dimezza il tempo di cast dell'imp (l'imp con 1 sec. di cast e' un buon pet, ci sono anche altri post su questo argomento nel forum).

In questo caso, che successione di talenti suggerisci?
Subito Improved Corruption, poi 11 punti in destruction (fino a shadowburn), poi il resto di affliction e infine il resto di destruction. Ruin e' bellissimo ma e' meglio prenderlo tardi, quando expi non vuoi che critici troppo alti incasinino l'aggro. Se proprio non resisti prendilo prima dei 5 punti in shadow mastery, insomma non prima del 55-56 :)
Sto seguendo i tuoi suggerimenti, ora ho il voidwalker e mi è stato detto che è molto più efficace dell’imp (che in effetti ha pochi pf e finisce il mana in fretta).
In teoria devo aspettare che il voidwalker aggri, poi lanciare corruption, immolate, curse of weakness, vari shadow bolt e finire con drain soul?
Il voidwalker e' il pet "tank", probabilmente il migliore per il pve solitario (salvo rare eccezioni). Si in linea di massima lascia che lui aggri, dotta il mob, usa la curse che piu' ti sembra adatta (all'inizio ne hai solo 2/3, ma poi ne avrai molte di piu') e poi fagli danni senza prendere aggro (puoi anche usare drain life e life tap per sprecare meno mana). Piu' avanti, quando avrai piu' abilita', riuscirai a gestire anche pull da 3 mob senza problemi (purche' siano in campo aperto e fearabili :) ).
