The advisor stepped in but didn't seem to answer clearly, at least to my ears. Yoshida then took control again firmly:

"So, used games can play on PS4. How is that?"

I said I thought that was fine.

Interestingly, I also spoke to a Sony source elsewhere at the event this evening who told me that the anti used-game patent discovered last month was actually nothing to do with PlayStation 4 at all.

The patent suggested that discs would come branded with a contactless tag that could be recognised and read by your console, which would then bind it to you and prevent you from selling it on.

But whatever reason Sony did have for patenting it, it sounds like it wasn't for its next-generation console. Hopefully Microsoft will also avoid this ludicrous technology with its next-generation Xbox as well.

Se non ricordo male nella conferenza di ieri han detto che è solo per riconoscere meglio i giocatori, però effettivamente è troppo grande per esser un mero "segnalatore"

E' l'equivalente della palla che sta sugli stick del Move.

In piu' la si usa anche per altre robe nei giochi normali (prossimo alla morte, un allarme "rosso" in caso di esplosione del cesso etc) tra cui appunto anche l'identificazione del pad.

esatto e' quello che pensavo e il fatto che abbiano usato una barra mi fa pensare che serva oltre che per posizione e distanza come era il ps move anche per trackare le rotazioni tipo per simulatori di volo e simili

mi sembra un po troppo appariscente per essere un semplice segnalatore, pero in effetti potrebbe pure essere una cosa estetica

Boh, sarà che mi sono abituato ai tempi di risposta del mio pc con ssd, ma ho provato a prendere in mano la ps3 con Fifa13 (praticamente l'avevo comprata e mai usata) ed ho tiltato i massimi per il lag dei menù (sia di sistema che dei giochi), per non parlare dei tempi di caricamento. Mi dà proprio ai nervi quella frazione di secondo tra input e risposta del sistema, sarò malato io ma è così.

La ps4 avrà ancora un hd meccanico no?

Si ma ieri in conferenza non l'han detta sta cosa, han detto che è il "tag" del giocatore. Tipo giocatore blu, led blu.
Anche perchè il move continuerà ad esistere come controller a sè stante..

No, subito dopo hanno detto che la barra luminosa colorata verrà usata assieme al nuovo eye stereoscopico (infatti hanno mostrato il pad, e immediatamente dopo aver parlato della lucina hanno mostrato il nuovo eye stereo).

In news that is sure to encourage grimacing and facepalming, Sony has confirmed purchases made on the PlayStation Network will not carry over from PS3 to PS4. Same goes for your game saves, too. For Christ's sake, Sony ... you just couldn't resist gunning for some bad PR.

Shuhei Yoshida told a roundtable (including our own Dale North) the PS4's innards are too different from the PS3, and the company is trying to avoid draining the system's power with emulation. Although plans are being looked into to get PS3 games playable in some form on the system, it appears anything you do right now on the PS3 will remain bound there.

Expect PS3 games to be available for streaming on the system at some point in time. Whether we'll be paying for the privilege or not remains to be seen

Non è un'idiozia, e lo sai. E' progettata a tavolino, sanno che ci saranno sempre N coglioni che si RIcompreranno i titoli PS3 in DD. Così come è successo per i titoli PS1 e 2 dallo store PSN. ;)

Bella lista dei 3rd parties a caso, NON mettono CD Projekt Red (che dovrebbero mettere in capslockalcentrocontuttidietro), che btw ieri si è vista chiaramente in quello screen delle varie ditte, però poi mettono...

Secondo me e' un'idiozia lo stesso...primo perche' non rewardi il brand fidelity dei consumatori, secondo perche' ti giochi una parte di install base.

Quando avevo il negozio, durante l'uscita della ps2, moltissima gente la comprava per il dvd, molte perche' "quelli del day one no matter what" esistono da sempre MA un botto le ho vendute con il "makes sense" del cosumer medio che veniva a comprare "una pleistescio" e semplicemente gli dicevo "guarda, se non è questione di rpezzo...ti conviene prendere la 2, che fa girare ANCHE i giochi ps1" simple as that, e ti giuro era un argomento che ha convinto piu' o meno tutti quelli che entravano nel mondo console per la prima volta.

Secondo me l'idea migliore era magari fare due modelli, prezzati accordingly e lasciar decidere il consumatore...puoi anche farne "poche" retrocompatibili e poi gestirti a seconda della domanda.

Oppure un add'on...na roba che attacchi a qualche porta e gg, se lo vuoi lo pigli altrimenti no.

La lista l'ho presa da un terzo, non da sony....quindi la completezza e' quel che e'.
CDPR ha tra l'altro confermato ieri ufficialmente TW3 su ps4 (ma si sapeva gia')

Oltre a non essere retrocompatibile a livello software, non lo sara' nemmeno a livello HW (i pad).

L'unica periferica che non hanno (s)confermato sono gli stick del Move.

Yosp ha confermato in un'intervista che supporterà il 4k.

La retro onestamente serve solo fino a quando non escono titoli decenti per la nuova console.

Poi per carità qualche nostalgico con la retro ci va in fissa ma la maggior parte delle persone appena la console ha un parco titoli degno non se la incula di pezza la retro.

Se vuoi giocarti i titoli vecchi ti tieni la vecchia console e stop.

la comodità di giocare tutto su una console è tutta un'altra cosa rispetto a tirar fuori una/due/tre console.

Beh non e' esattamente passta in sordina come news eh...fatti un giro sui forum, gia' c'era stata cagnare rigurdo quella della ps2 su ps3..
Poi amen, io le console le tengo tutte e gg, pero' uscire con un parco titoli che comprende gia' tutti i vecchi guarda che non e' da poco...e nemmeno uscire con 2 SKU.

La triste realta' e' che la cazzata l'hanno fatta nel 2002 a studiare il cell, e la stanno ancora pagando, non credo non "volessero" inserirla...specialmente contando il fatto che non supporta manco i titoli DD della ps3....insomma, la gente non e' affatto contenta, e diciamocela...Sony non se la passa bene...piu' roba "customer pleasing" faceva piu' ci guadagnava...e POI poteva cmq spremerli in altri modi in seguito.
