FYI for people asking about Growth Rates, here's a copy of a post from another thread:
"The top styles do considerably more damage, yes (they're actually on-par with the best pre-nerf Left Axe styles IIRC). Here's from an old post I made stating that the damage was still too high (after it had been lowered a chunk), 4.1SPD weapon (16.2DPS due to RR), 236 Quickness, and 43+12 Piercing:
Base Damage: 215
Vampiiric Sting: 299 (+84)
Torso Shot: 277 (+62)
Copperhead: 315 (+100)
Vampiiric Feint: 244 (+29)
Lung Shot: 498 (+283)
I'm not *positive* these weren't stealth adjusted again like the first two times, as I never re-tested after lack of feedback to my thoughts on the last tweak. Presumably they are still this way.
Note that the first three called shot styles and the last three called shot styles all do within ~1 damage of each other.
If you wanted to use the growth rate method to compare to other styles (keep in mind that this method is only accurate when compared to other styles with similar total weapon spec), it'd look like:
Vampiiric Sting: .57
Torso Shot: .42
Copperhead: .68
Vampiiric Feint: .20
Lung Shot: 1.93"

You should aim for a minimum of 43 pierce at level 50. The reason for this is
the special styles that vampiir get in the pierce line, the called shots.
These are styles that aim at a particular part of the body, the head (43),
the chest (44) and the leg (45). These styles do about double the damage of
the regular pierce styles. If you spec some Dementia, you get a spell that
will debuff a body part, and you can aim there for even more damage using these
styles. If you plan to use the dementia debuff, go 45 pierce. If not, stop at 43.
