Che ne pensate? Ovviamente è un tp basato sulla teoria in quanto non ho giocato uno Sciamano a lvl medio/alti.
Pensavo di puntare tutto sul melee col 2h, sugli insta cast e sul totem che assorbe danno fisico, lasciando le magie castate e gli altri totem a ruolo di utility in + (si lo ammetto, ho cercato di fare un tp un po' Thane-Way :D )
Per quanto riguarda le cure penso che i punti in restoration per questa build siano sprecati (a parte Nature Swiftness e la passiva che riduce il costo dei totem sigh), e cmq in genere il ruolo di curatore secondario (pensarlo come primario e' un utopia imho) lo Sciammo sembra ricoprirlo perfettamente anche con 0 punti.
Un dubbio che ho riguarda i buff dell'arma: ho scelto di potenziare Flametongue perche' mi sembra quello + efficace, ma magari si potrebbero potenziare anche Rockbiter e Frostbrand (Windfury la lascerei così com'è) a discapito di qualche passiva difensiva (tipo Anticipation o Toughness)...il fatto è che durano relativamente poco come buff e costano un pacco di mana, non so quindi quanto siano effettivamente utilizzabili tutti insieme una volta lvl 60.

flametongue e' quello meno utilizzato tra tutti, mentre ti consiglierei caldamente di mettere i talenti in windfury, che da 20 passa al 44% possibilità di proccare durante un combat, direi possibilità abbastanza buona

poi porterei stoneskin totem solo a 2, in modo tale da porter portare flurry a 5, per il resto e' lo stesso template che ho io e lo trovo il migliore

Improved windfury NON aumenta la possibilità di proccare !!! Alza del 22% il bonus che si ottiene per i colpi addizionali.

Stoneskin evitatelo tanto in rvr tiri l'earthbind. 1 punto va messo x cappare furry e l'altro X ALZARE GROUNDING TOTEM !!!! MA che scherziamo il totem + forte di tutti non lo powwiamo??? :nono:

E poi..preferire cappare anticipation e toughness a Stormstrike??? :scratch:

PS: giusto x conoscenza..occhio a respeccare con lo sciamano che se avevate trainato le armi 2h perdete TUTTI i punti (scoperto ieri sera...1 ora e mezza a riportare a 180 2h axe porcaccia :swear: ..e avevo pure mazze 2h a 165 prima e ora so a 1 :( )

eh pz, avevo fatto un post kilometrico e mi e' crashato il pc nel mentre :|

cmq, stormstrike e' alquanto inutile, ha un costo di mana spropositato, una durata ridicola ( solo 12 sec ) e un effetto non adeguato

se se in 1vs1 l'unico cast che puoi utilizzare ( con danno Nature ) e' earthshock, e fai in tempo a lanciarne uno solo mentre il secondo non fai realmente in tempo a usarlo che e' gia scaduto l'effetto di stormstrike

potresti sempre prendere le distanze e lanciare i lightning bolt, ma perdi tempo e comunque ti ritrovi a utilizzare un mana eccessivo, restano inesorabilmente a secco

sto ancora cercando capire la reale utilità di anticipation, ma dopo vari test sono quasi giunto alla conclusione che praticamente non porta visibili differenze

Emh ma guarda che stormstrike ti da cmq un attacco instant bonus con l'arma e poi in un tp elemental/enhancement gli shock li tiri ogni 5 sec quindi 2 earth li fai passare (a parte che poi c'è lighting shield che fa danno nature)

E poi sarà anche scarsamente utile ma sempre melio di1 punto di anticipation o toughness...

2 shock in realtà non riesci a farli passare, in teoria ce la fai ma la pratica e' tutt'altra cosa, tenendo conto che nella maggior parte dei casi sei costretto a usare il frostshock che è 1000 volte piu' efficace dell'earthbind totem

anche io ero un fans sfegatato dello stormstrike ma poi mi sono reso conto di quanto in realtà sia un punto sprecato data l'impossibilità di usare appieno l'abilità

anche anticipation dopo varie prove son giunto alla conclusione che sia "sacrificabile" per fare un template con qualche punto in piu' in Elemental e prendere Elemental Fury, che incrementa del 100% il danno critico dei cast elementali ( fire, frost, nature ), anche se bisogna sacrificare 5 punti in Call of Thunder che è un emerita schifezza di talento

non credo sia il template definitivo, ma un template simile vale la pena di provarlo

Ho trovato queste info su Anticipation 5:

It increases your Defense skill by 10, which does 2 things:

1) Increases the chance for each of your defensive abilities (dodge, block, and parry if you have it) to kick in by 0.4% each. For 5 talent points, this is next to nothing.

2) You are treated as 2 levels higher if you keep your Defense skill maxed in regards to "crippling blows". A crippling blow adds +100% to the damage of an attack (2x damage on normal attacks, 3x on a crit) because they are a set amount higher level than your Defense skill. Typically, mobs +5 and up will always land crippling blows, so the talent would move this up to +7.

Direi che il gioco non vale la candela, i bonus a dodge, parry e block sono ridicoli e l'essere considerati in fase difensiva di 2 livelli sopra non credo faccia molta differenza nè in pve nè tantomeno in pvp: almeno a quanto ho potuto vedere, su WoW non è come in Daoc in cui anche un solo livello di differenza porta un bonus/malus molto alto agli attacchi/difese.

Mah non è poi così vero... mena un mob del tuo livello e poi mena un mob dello stesso tipo ma 2 livelli sopra e dimmi che hai la stessa % di miss....

Tutto sommato mi pare + utile anticipation che non toughness che mi fa passare da un ipotetico 35% di abs a un 38.5... (in pratica mi fanno abbastanza schifo tutti e 2 :awk: )

si i bonus di Anticipation li conoscevo gia, portato a 5 permette un 4% in piu' di possibilità di parare/schivare o far missare il colpo all'avversario

fino a poco tempo fa avevo Anticipation 5 con una belt che mi dava +12 in defense, quindi arrivavo ad avere un bonus di 8.8%, eppure la differenza tra l'averlo e il non averlo era abbastanza ridicola sia in PvE che in PvP

Thoughness al contrario e' molto utile e mi spiace non riuscire a maxarlo

l'AF influisce direttamente sul danno, e uno shaman 2h al 60 ha con un buon set 3000 di af, quel 10% vuol dire arrivare a 3300 e per una classe in Mail e' davvero tanto, se poi pensiamo allo Shaman in configurazione Mazza/Scudo che arriva a 5500/6000 di armor, beh aumentagli il 10% di af guadagnata da oggetti e vedi come i rogue e i warrior ti fanno danni ridicoli

i punti risparmiati da anticipation e qualche sacrificio su toughness, spesi su Elemental permettono di prendere Elemental Fury, un compromesso piu' che accettabile a mio parere ;)

il tuo ragionamento non fa una piega, ed infatti e' tutt'ora una delle scelte piu' discusse dello shaman dove alla fine si risolve con una scelta personale

windfury se procca ti permette di vincere quasi sicuramente uno scontro, mentre rockbite ti da la certezza di fare piu' danni ad ogni swingata

pero' quando con windfury annienti una cloth/leather class in letteralmente 2 secondi, un po' ci godi :)

facendo i conti con il bonus su Rockbiter a 2 avresti +10% al power attack, con windfury mi pare 22% o 44%, non ricordo bene. Cmq sia sarebbe come avere al 60 su circa 550 di powerattack di Rockbiter un +55, mentre sui circa 650 di windfury a prescindere che sia +22% o 44% è cmq + influente come potenziamento di stile. Almeno per come la vedo io.


edit: controllato su totthbot è +22%... cmq è buono, meglio del +10% fisso a rockbiter secondo me

su 10 colpi rockbitt 2 ti sviluppa 504 attack power in + mentre windfury a malapena 300 se la % fosse + alta tipo 40-50% sarebbero simili in overtime e li la scelta sarebbe del tutto personale (casualità o linearità) ma con solo 20 % chance mi sa sia nettamente mejo rockbitter o sbaglio qualcosa? :look:

non sbagli niente se fai un calcolo di 10 colpi, ma non tieni conto sul tempo in cui quei 10 colpi possono essere inferti

windfury ti permette di compiere 2 attacchi extra per swingata, quindi se con un arma teorica da 2.0 sec di swing con rockbite i 10 colpi li metti a segno SICURAMENTE in 20 secondi, con windfury quei 10 colpi puoi teoricamente metterli a segno dai in un intervallo tra i 3 e i 20 secondi

Si ma considera il singolo colpo: su un colpo con windfury proccato hai circa +150 power attack (ho arrotondato in eccesso partendo da un power attack base di 650 di windfury al 60), per un totale intorno agli 800.

Con rockbiter avresti fisso il suo 550 +55 = 605

Quindi se ti dice di culo, e ti entra spesso windfury, fai cmq + danni.
Avere un +500 di bonus totale dopo 10 attacchi con Rockbiter è quasi come aver sferrato un attacco extra (circa il power attack di 11 nello spazio di 10) ma a mio avviso 10 colpi di melee sono tanti per averne solo 1 in +.

Cmq sia sarà da provare a lato pratico in release, se windfury proccherà poco allora sarà il caso di passare a quel +10% in Rockbiter. Ma vedendo un amico shamano in beta, pareva che windfury proccasse mica male...

Windfury e' la benedizione e al tempo stesso la maledizione dello shaman, perche comunque devi affidarti al caso e sperare che quel 20% procchi piu' volte possibile. In realtà procca abbastanza spesso, alle volte si ha la fortuna di vederlo proccare 2 volte di fila il che vuol dire circa 500danni *3 due volte consecutive, 3000 danni in pochi secondi con un arma 2h se non missi mai. Capita anche che non procchi per svariate swingate.

Il power attack comunque viene applicato SOLO se procca quel 20%, altrimenti stai menando con un arma senza buff, in quel caso il danno e' quello di una swingata normale .

eh lo so, era solo per dire che a mio avviso un +10% sul rockbiter non ti cambia la vita. Poi bho, dipende da come uno intende giocare lo shamano e da quale dei 2 buff usa d+. La pratica in release e la possibilità di respeccare ci darà la certezza su quale sia meglio dei 2 a seconda dello stile di gioco seguito.
