Si ma è il cd win XP che ho usato un miliardo di volte, anche su quel pc la prima volta ha funzionato, ora dopo il format non ne vuole sapere.

successo anche a me ed il problema era esattamente quello che ha descritto vegeta, il cd aveva un file danneggiato e cambiandolo ha funzionato

cmq pure a me xp mi ha dato rpoblemi del genere sulla copia del file driver.cab dove si bloccava, ecco l'utilità del tralascia/ignora di zio bill ahahahahahah

Maledizione mi da' problemi anke a me durante l'installazione...
La prima volta era andato tutto bene, HD SATA 160gb, pero' installato per sbaglio sulla terza partizione (eh a fare le cose di fretta... -.- ), ho deciso di reinstallare e ora puntualmente mi da' un errore di lettura mentre copia i file, pero' non e' un file fisso, cambia di volta in volta boh...

Inoltre ogni volta l'HD (160) lo vede di dimensione diversa... da un max di 130 a un minimo di 25 Gb...

Ogni volta cmq anche a me dava come errore un file diverso, mentre se il cd fosse rovinato dovrebbe dare sempre lo stesso. Inoltre ho provato a installare sia da lettore sia da masterizzatore.
Visto cosi mi sembra ci sia un problema nel tragitto che i dati fanno da lettore-cavi-bus-mobo-hd booooooh...

Secondo me e' sto cazzo di SATA ke da' problemi uff... domani li chiamo e sento un po', ora sono sfinito (volevo fare prova con solo 1 banco di ram per escludere ke sia la ram il problema) e la mia anima nerd e' triste ç_ç
Edit: per curiosita', sai mica che mobo ha? io ho una asus A7V880 e l'hd e' samsung.

Oggi riprovato a installare, errori sempre a random, alcuni file visti piu' volte, ma altri proprio random... allora un amico mi ha suggerito memtest86...
I due banchi da 512M assieme in dual chan danno un fottio di errori, un banco da solo da' 111 errori, l'altro da solo ZERO errori, assieme NON in dual chan da' errori cmq...
Direi che e' la ram, quel banco e' difettato anke se sto pensando anke all'incompatibilita' (anke se pero' quel banco da solo ke era perfetto avrebbe dovuto dare errori ).
