Hi,
I am writing you this email to complain about a connection problem that all
the Satellite connection user of my area are experiencing during the game.
We are having a certified download rate of 512kb and an upload of 256kb.
Despite this we are all experiencing a heavy lag on-game (I’ve tried on all
cluster for testing).
The lag meter is always yellow and red but NEVER NEVER green.
At the beginning I thought it was a pc problem but eventually, upon discussing with other user, it was clear that it wasn’t an hardware
problem has I’ve personally seen the same situation on their pc’s.
This is a problem that persist since 2 years now...
Since we are quite a lot using Satellite connection, could you please do
something to help us solving this problem?

Hello,
On a satellite connection you're always going to have trouble with lag times. While you may have very fast speeds, that only measures how fast the packets are sent and not the response time from sending the packet to getting to the satellite to actually getting to the Internet backbone. You may want to talk to your provider about how to optimize ping time, but beyond that there isn't much that can be done about playing online via satellite.
