cpu p4 3.2ghz, 1mb(800) sok lga775 box
ram 2gb ddr2 pc 667
scheda grafica ati radeon his x1300 512mb, pc express, tv out, dvi, retail
(ovviamente case,hd,etcetc già li ho di mio)
cosa cambiereste senza aumentare il budget?

Dimmi che ci spendi meno di 400 euro e ti dico "ok, prendilo".
Altrimenti son soldi buttati. Tieni quello che hai (se proprio nn giri con un p2 200mhz).
Poi ovvio, se il budget è quello, allora non ci puoi fare + di tanto. Meglio un pc così che una carretta del 1902

prima ho fatto questa bozza di preventivo per sturm che voleva spendere intorno ai 600 euro, manca la scheda video, ma se ne aggiungi una buona arrivi intorno alla cifra che vuoi spenderere tucerto nn è il max ma per quella cifra questo sono riuscito a tirare fuori

Con un pentium 4 ci fai ancora girare degnamente la maggior parte di giochi ( se non hai soldi per il core 2 DUo , ci sono pure i pentiumD ..)
Cmq alla tua conf. iniziale, basterebbe spendere qualcosina di piu per la scheda video...e secondo me se non hai grandi pretese campi alla grande..
( Io avevo poco budget , ho preso una geffo 7600gt che te la tirano dietro..., per dire medieval total war II in grandi scontri regge alla grande , idem l'ultimo NFS carbon ecc

il mio coinquilino m'ha detto la stessa cosa, aggiungendo il fatto di tenermi il p4 a 3.2 ma con scheda madre che supporta anche i dual core, così appena cala il prezzo passo di la..

Per il core 2 duo...dovrebbero uscire ( me pare novembre-dicembre) o sono gia usciti i quadricore...dopo qualche mese dall'uscita penso ti tireranno dietro i 2 DUo....
